So I connected everything in the case, and my back feels like it's going to explode after craning into every corner trying to find everything. Finally, after 10 hours, mostly standing and craning, I set up my monitor, the Acer XB270B I think (the IPS/1440p/144hz one. It was the only IPS/120hz I could find for intel), and was ready for the moment of victory... and the cord in the box won't connect to the computer.
It's supposed to use display port, but the cord it came with looks almost like an ethernet cord on one side, and then it's just a plain USB on the other side. So actually it does connect to the computer, but I have no idea what for. It's supposed to use display port.
Am I missing something? Don't TVs and monitors usually come with one HDMI or Displayport, whatever it needs to connect? Or was it supposed to come with my motherboard or PSU or case? I have a bunch of cords but none are displayport.
Please advise!
