But Edge AA in Crysis just blurs the edges of the vegetation and geometry. It does an excellent job in the vegetation since regular anti aliasing does nothing to it and special anti aliasing modes like AAA or TSSA is too great for a game like Crysis. But Edge AA isn't good enough in geometry, it still looking a bit jagged compared to regular AA, it looks slighly better than regular 2xAA but considerably less than 4xAA.

Edge AA in Crysis is terrible; all it does is fattens up the vegetation but it still shimmers, and it doesn't affect polygon edges very much. Regular MSAA + TrAA/AAA is far better, while SSAA is better still.

Yea I just tried Edge 2xAA and it looks worse than regular 2xAA. The Veggies looks better but everything else looks terrible.
