If you notice most of the computers they use in the commercials are Apples, then it gives a nice little disclaimer "Does not work in OSX".

they show commercials for this company on the game show network. they are totally targeting the old people who watch that channel who dont know any better. and yah. i love when the macbook blue screens.

This dump of a company has limited liability written all over it. That example of downloading a file is ripe for a lawsuit.

And anytime a company talks in layman terms like "junk files". You know they are scammers. Only the ignorant out there believe in such a falacy.

Do you know how much money the nigerian and other scammers make? I only wish I had thought of this idea first. Or how about the "pour this in your gas tank and get 25% increase in gas mileage!"

Snake oil is still snake oil no matter who or what they are selling.

At least this other company's commercial had someone with an intriguing accent.

I like how they scan the crt monitors to remove the virus threat.

Is there any other way to do it

That's the point where I knew the commercial was complete and utter BS. I'm smart enough to know having a CRT prevents viruses. Only people with those shitty LCD screens get viruses.

i also like how the edited out the download info during the shot where the compare a pc with finally fast and without it.

$10 says 1 pc is using dial up and the other is using DSL or something.

Nothing new here when MS was showcasing Win 95 and trying to show people why they needed it over 3.1. They showed an internet demo and the 3.1 box was on a 14.4k and the 95 was either 28.8 or 56k They said "see windows 95 is faster for the internets!?!" Without mentioning the 95 box had a much faster modem in it. Shady shit always happens when it comes to techie companies.
