Miz has great mic skills and he plays the heel well. His wrestling skills are barely above amateurish, but he has been improving quite a bit. I'm not going to say I'm a huge fan, but he is not even close to the worst on the roster, let alone RAW's roster.

Ultimate Warrior sucked and always sucked, he was a flash in the pan. Macho Man on the other hand, now that was a wrestler.

Well if you consider saying "I'm Awesome" (aweful) a million times great.. well then so be it..

I use to love WWF back in the late 90's, but when Foley, Austin and Rock left it devolved into a bunch of meatheads in underwear acting gay.

Yeah. The one and only reason to watch this shit is to is to laugh bemusedly at the absurdity of it all. But you take away the silliness and personalities and it's just meatheads play fighting.

Damn has it really been 7 years? The new generation of kids probably have no idea who The Rock even is. Its all us old timers now ha.

I love people saying watching wrestling is for losers. Those are the same people that are watching these horrible reality shows which are millions of times worse. The difference is that WWE fans know it's fake, you reality shows watched think your shows are real.

I've been watching Spartacus (the newer Starz series) and when reading this thread, it came to my mind that while some people wonder why people watch this stuff... the pro wrestling of today is sort of like our modern day gladiator bouts... chock full of violence (sans the death part). Certainly not a perfect comparison, but it seems to draw some parallels.

I cant wait til I watch the full episode!

But I'll be honest, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels will always by (joint) number one in my books 🙂

No. That would be MMA.

Wrestling is more of a soap opera than pure athletic competition.

Just to be clear. You are not watching "wrestling." You are watching the teenage boy equivalent of "Days of our Lives." With half naked men. Gripping one another. Tightly. And enjoying it.

And with this pic, I rest my case

Someones bitter, looks like he does exactly what he's supposed to do. Thanks for playing along you, fans like you make my wrestling entertainment experience more enjoyable.

That match sucked so goddamn bad. I honestly have no clue how those guys were popular.

The Hulk was one of the first to really work the crowd and one of the few to really work the mic.

sure he terrible in the ring but at the time it didn't matter (I hated the 80's wrassling. huge guys that couldn't move well).

the "warrior" was just fucking crazy and also couldn't wrestle worth shit. But he had something the fans loved. i never understood it. the guy was crazy on the mic and couldn't wrestle worth shit.

the match between hulk and him was bad. BUT it was the first time 2 face (good) guys challenged each other for titles. Then having hulk hand him the belt was a huge pop.

to bad the warrior blew it.

I enjoy watching WWE. sure i know its fake. but some of the new guys are amazing the shit they do is crazy. Add in the guys who can entertain more then in the ring like the Rock, Y2J, Mick foley, Stone cold..etc

Not bitter just not impressed with the character at all..
he is a waste of screen time.

I'd rather watch CM Punk be a real heel than this guy.. at least he is believable..

he is soo shallow .. wading pools call him shallow..

he is so retarded.. people with downs syndrome say DAMN that dude's retarded..

WWE getting lazy with the writing and any muscle bound tard can get a job it seems.

well, that is always how wrasslin has fancied itself. pop culture, through gladiator movies, have enforced the idea that much of the gladiator's success was determined by "winning the crowd." You can't just be good in a fight, you have to do so with panache.

wrasslin is 90% showmanship, 10% acrobatics and choreography. as it always has been.

Yay. I stopped watching years ago, after WWE bought WCW it all went downhill.

Now that TNA is a viable competitor, it looks like Vince is having to step up his game.

The Rock seriously has like 10 catchphrases that people know by heart. Larry the Cable Guy has maybe two. They're basically in the same business.
