But is he actually going to do stuff and not just a cameo appearance like he's done before on many occasions? I haven't watched WWE wrestling in over a year but if he's REALLY coming back and I mean really coming back I'll watch it again. If I would have known I would have gotten tickets.

Rock is probably the best showman that wrestling has ever seen. That's what made him great. Always great on the mic.

WTF people hate Michael Cole now? I didn't know anyone cared about him. And an anonymous GM? I need to start watching it again.

Dwayne is a cool cat. He's a true thespian. The dude was out sewing his oats, exploring the stage, he has real talent. he's still doing it, I guess. I haven't watched 10 minutes of wrasslin since those days, since before he apparently disappeared, (and before that, for me it was the Jake the Snake, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hogan, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Iron Sheik days)...but the Rock knows wtf he's doing.

Im completely lost on the storyline now, but I heard its shit.
 
Do adults actually watch this stuff? I used to watch wrestling as a kid in the 80s, back when it seemed like it might actually be legitimate. I don't see the attraction now.

I do like Dwayne, though. Everything I've seen of him shows he's a pretty cool guy.

Motherfucker! I fucking Bring IT! FUCK YEAH!!!"


...then I noticed that Everyone's sign is backwards. every logo and graphic is backwards, all the text in the video is backwards...

there are some sad people in the crowd, yes.

but you must realize, you thought it was legit in the 80s b/c you were a kid.

the adults that watched it then...never thought that. they didn't care...they "got it"

those kids that thought it was legit, then "got it" then LOVED ii...are now bring their kids. :\

not the thing that I grew into, but it has its moments (weed helps). that's all I know.
 
Finally the Rock has come back... to save the WWE from total failure.

Hopefully he sticks around for awhile. I'll watch again.
 
Great thing about his promo was that it was old school jabroni beating, shining things up and sticking it up candy asses Rock. Funny stuff even if "ass" was censored. PG crap. ...and fuck John "Fruity Pebbles" Cena. If there were more guys like The Rock I would care more about wrestling but outside of a couple of guys the rosters are painfully dull (Blandy Boreton is AWFUL as is Cena) with so little charisma. Guess it just shows how good Dwayne Johnson is when people who hate wrestling talk about how entertaining he is.

the rock sucked in the ring. but damn he was great on the mic. the whole rock n sock connection was great. him and mic foley were a great combination. i got to see "this is your life" that Foley did on the rock and it was great.


oh yeah the rock and Y2J were amazing too.

Once the rock, stone cold, and mick left it went down hill. The only one I really like is the mizz and I think it was funny how everyone hates him. They really don't have anyone that is really good on the mic and the Rock should bring that back.

The whole anonymous GM thing is stupid and wish the rock would of ended it right there by smashing that stupid computer.
 
Just to be clear. You are not watching "wrestling." You are watching the teenage boy equivalent of "Days of our Lives." With half naked men. Gripping one another. Tightly. And enjoying it.
 
So Ok.. I watched it.. and was shocked to see him there..
now from his speech it sounded like he was "back" but all the WWE news sites are just saying he is hosting Wrestlemania and that's it.

They flip videos on youtube to keep the youtube automatic anti copyright program from tagging them and deleting them.

Same thing happens with file sharing sites where files are tagged as copyrighted so people throw in some random text files and re-zip them and post them again to beat the automatic checkers.
