nobody is buying them so they're super cheap, selling for 17k barebones, 18 with moonroof, premium sound (which is actually pretty good), side airbags, and abs. you can get a $1000 brembo brake package but you lose the abs option, which is kinda lame so I didn't get that. the regular abs brakes are reeelly good anyways, i'm happy with what i got :)

Meh...If I were to comment on anything besides the car, it would be that you're wearing slippers with socks :Q

for some reason that looks like a regular SE-R to me, the interior is much more bland than my friends, along with the plain shift knob too.

might want to look into that, unless they toned it down for the 2005 model year. his is a 2004 and he loves it

Yeah...I remember test-driving one in...2002?...and there was red all over the place. Today's Spec-V seats are just black cloth with silver inserts though.

the engine's awesome, but interior build quality feels kinda cheap, and the shifter can be stubborn going into 1st and reverse, but it doesn't spoil the car...though sometimes i wish i spent the extra 6k for the rsx-s lol

I have the same problems with my Nissan. You have to be completely stopped to get a smooth transition into first/reverse; makes sense, but many cars are more forgiving.

Anyway, the engine in these cars are great. The interior is scheisse, but otherwise they're good cars.

It's a pretty good value and more or less the most powerful compact sedan that doesn't look like ass (Neon)

It's a trick! The 2 rear doors on the SE-R are for show, nobody older than 12 can fit in the back seat. :p

That's a common problem with the spec-v's, just get a short shifter to fix that finicky gearbox.

isn't it more of a linkage problem? i dont think a shorter shifter would help

i found that stepping up n down on the clutch a time or 2 can make the stubborn gearbox more cooperative...its embarrasing when i'm at a stoplight and struggling to get it in gear lol
once you're in gear though it's fine, you can chirp the tires going into 2nd and 3rd gear...great fun

*note that i'm lazily shifting at 3k rpm
