saw a cute girl driving one the other day, she rev'ed the engine at me when I was sitting next to her at a stop light, I looked over at her and she smiled, I was thinking, yeah right, don't even try lady, It'd just be a waste of your gas (I drive a Evo)

They don't, they just drive to punish ricers. Minivans and ricers get terrible road treatment from me. Cut off, honked at, whatever. I'm some kind of road nazi.
 
yeah, Holden car...many hate it, but I'm happy driving a GTO at the age of 22 and not a late 90s Civic or whatever ^_^

(Mind you, I love imports...)

I really don't feel the need to explain myself, I feel that a lot of others agree with me. At least one G35 owner, anyway.

That's a common problem with the spec-v's, just get a short shifter to fix that finicky gearbox.

isn't it more of a linkage problem? i dont think a shorter shifter would help

i found that stepping up n down on the clutch a time or 2 can make the stubborn gearbox more cooperative...its embarrasing when i'm at a stoplight and struggling to get it in gear lol
once you're in gear though it's fine, you can chirp the tires going into 2nd and 3rd gear...great fun

Same issue in my older Sentra.
I have to "double clutch" in order to get it in first when slowly cruising under 10 mph 😉

Also, regular SE-R's come in 5 speed manual IIRC.

the logic is simple, if you have the power, use it

otherwise...why get a G35....why not get a PRIUS
 
use the power to piss off other drivers? that''s dark side there, use the power for your own enjoyment when there's little or no traffic, that's the good. choose wisely luke...

oh and the bus? it's my dad's... it's converted into a motorhome.

i've drivin it up a nearby twisty canyon road a few times and it's great fun, the car has lots of grip with a bit of understeer if i push it too much, but i guess it keeps me out of trouble, heh. acceleration is nice and linear, very torquey for a little car (also get torque steer in tight corners, can't turn at an intersection too agressively) The engine has a nice agressive snarly sound once you hit 5k rpm, that sound is one of my favorite things about the car... gas milage is around 35mpg in best case scenario driving (while maintaining 75 on the freeway) and can get as low as 21mpg (while i'm playing in the canyons) but averages 27 with highway/city daily driving.
