since always ;)

i love duallies, and the latest Cats let you easily clone the movie on the secondary monitor full screen in theater mode :D

As well as massive WMV_HD acceleration, 1080p smooth as butter and about mid 60s CPU usage>j00 :)

i love duallies and my 9800 pro in fact :D

 for duallies (or in my case, triplies) and I  my 6800GT. Just FYI, I used to get a big performance hit in 3D games if I had my second monitor on. My 6800GT doesn't seem to take any hit with monitor #2 on. :D

never had a problem with the 2nd monitor, IIRC that was a nvidia driver problem a while back, fixed now.

Sorry, I was unclear, lol. I had that problem back when I had a 9600Pro. It went away when I switched to the 6800GT.

ah ok. I run my duallies 24/7 and i've never noticed a slowdown in games/benchies, so i guess the drivers have fixed that problem.

Quite probably. That card was a dog. Made me swear off ATI cards forever. :(

fair enuff.

Well since MS brought out the hotfix for WMV-HD decoding and my 9800 pro plays them smooth as butter i couldn't be happier with it, driver support is excellent, latest Cats have a whole load of cool media stuff, and funky stuff for duallies, so i'me keeping it for quite a while i suspect, at least till i get a a screen that supports higher than 1280 :D

Now :camera:'s of your e-penis!!

Has RossMAN been spreading rumors about my epenis again?

I know, I feel kind of dumb because every time I ask a question I answer it 5 seconds later. But now I need to figure out how to keep WMP from exiting full-player mode whenever I click on the desktop of THIS monitor. Doesn't make sense to me why it would affect the other monitor but whateva. I'm still new to all this.

it always will, you loose focus ;)
like when you are in a game, if i click on something else on the other screen that comes to the front.

However the latest Cats (5.6) let you get around that...

Awwww that's retarded. I'll just have to be careful I guess. Does it do it to any other players?

all of them ;)

with vlc only the windows taskbar shows up when you click on something else in the other monitor which is better than going back to a window i guess...

I take you have an nvidia card :) Suxors to you there :)

...no, 9800 pro.

well get the latest cats and set up the theatre full screen mode on the 2nd monitor, then it won't loose focus ;) 9800 pro too here :D

What's weird is I do have the latest Cats, but for some reason it doesn't show in my tray anymore.

Yeah, the 9800Pro owners that were satisfied with their cards reliablity (I may well have gotten a lemon, who knows) definitely got a long lasting card.
