Dreamcast forever!
HERE HERE!!
gamecubes gba connectivity is just copying dreamcast and the vmu(one of the more recent powerful systems with dual screen play features)
nintendo is putting all its efforts into ds, sony is not.
if sony doesnt sell a bajillion psp's in a year they are gonna drop support, they havnt had a failing system yet, you think theyd want to keep it around(if it does fail)? the 3rd times the charm, ps1 and ps2 were luck and hype.
no game system has had two screens to work with yet(except for the game&watch, the first hand held) so this AUTOMATICALLY makes the DS more promising and interesting. -fan boys about the psp- "ohhh it can play movies and video games, its more interesting" yeah right, the gameboy can play movies if you get the proper after market devices, quality is poor, but when your watching a movie on the go quality isnt your concern.
how many ps2's do you know of breaking? and thoes arnt even PORTABLE!! sony's build quality is very poor, and im willing to bet the psp wont last in a 12 year olds backpack. i know the psp is aimed at adults, but if it cant last in a 12 year olds backpack thats a HUGE market sony is passing up.
do you really wanna BUY a UMD disc of whatever movie you can get for the same price or cheaper on dvd? not to mention you cant burn UMD's. psp is a money black hole for sony. UMD movies arnt gonna sell, UMD movies and movie playing on the psp is a gimick, dual screens is not a gimick. if you want an mp3 player get an ipod/whatever supports flac, if you want a portable game console get a sp/ds, if you want something that trys to do everything half a$$ed get anything with the name 'playstation' on it.
sony is like the microsoft of japan.
