Does anyone have the FF7 Multipatcher? (for PC ofcourse)

I've been trying to torrent it, but no one is seeding, and I'm really itching to play FF7 again (dunno why, I just am)

I'd play it on my PS2, but I can't find the PSX CDs anymore. :(

Anyways, can anyone help me out?

I'll be your best friend...

Edit: If you have it and would rather send it through AIM/MSN, send me a PM.

Thanks

UPDATE: No luck yet; But this page contains information on the multipatcher.

UPDATE#2: Couldn't find the patcher, BUT.. Schwan posted links to the items included in the patcher. Scroll down to see!!

As far as I can tell, it's a set of patches that fix some problems and allow you to play in 1280x1024 and 1280x960

Edit: I also think that it adds the original music instead of the midi in the PC version

From a cached version of a mininova page:

Patches Final Fantasy VII PC with a selection of the many available official and public domain fixes.

Hi-Res patch allows you to play in either the 1280 x 960 or 1280 x 1024 pixel resolutions.

FF7Music PSF patch allows you to hear the original Playstation soundtrack on the PC, rather than the standard midi music.

Reunion texture patch enables alternative textures, replacing many of the characters' attire.

Hardcore mode makes the game much more challenging for the "elite" Final Fantasy VII player.

Video patches attempt to fix black-screen problems.

Numeric Keypad fix allows laptop users to get in and properly configure their controls.

*Changes in v1.2:
1) The installer now checks for a previous Final Fantasy VII installation and automatically sets the default directory.
2) Default subdirectory is not prefixed if you choose to select a different directory.
3) Added Lo-Res modes for backup and troubleshooting purposes.
4) Other nit-picking and cosmetic setup optimisations...

edit: whoops, I thought he was asking about torrenting the entire game, not just the patcher. My bad.

A  to the OP :p

Eh, this topic is fine. He doesn't mention that he's pirating the game or anything. The multi-patcher is just like a 3rd party mod for the game. :)

As JohnAn2112 said, I'm not asking for the game itself. I'm just asking for a group of patches that will enhance the game.

If it was being seeded or I could download it through other means, then I wouldn't have made this topic. I heard about the multipatcher close to 6 months ago, and I've been trying to download it for the past two months. (BT wasn't working for me until recently)

edit: off-topic.. post #3300. yay?

For the love of sweet Mary, keep me informed!

I have the PC final fantasy 7 and I'd like to get into it again.
Have tried a bunch of patches and mods but nothing works. I can only do software rendering and the game freezes and crashes all the time.

The only other option is to make a cheap little Win98 system with a GeForce 2, and I dont feel like doing that for one game.

Another vote for finding this "multipatcher"!

I just started playing recently as well! I dl'ed some resolution patches that did not install and just went with the "xp fix" patch. I'm not that far in but have not gotten stuck anywhere...

Ok guys, I don't have the multipatcher......but I have all the separate parts.

You really need to check out these forums: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?board=3.0

There are a ton of cool mods for ff7 pc they are making.

I just reinstalled ff7, haven't played since 1998 lol. I'm having a blast replaying it with these mods. It works great. The main 3 you should get are the npc reconstruction project, ff7music, and high resolution patch.

NPC reconstruction: Link
Makes the characters look like the battle chars instead of the blocky lego style. Looks great!

FF7music: Link
Replaces the crappy pc midi songs with the original psx songs.

High resolution patch: Link
Let's you play at 1280 x 960 instead of 640 x 480.

Couple of pics with the NPC patch applied:

Good luck trying to find one for a decent price. I just looked on Amazon and the cheapest one is $71.00! The most expensive one is $199, wtf?
