good job. looks like a general pre-calc review. the hard part is doing well in all 4 years of math in college.

college math for engineers is generally the following:
calc 1, calc2, calc3, probability and statistics, discrete math, diffeq, linear algebra, something else i dont remember.

i got real sick of it by the 3rd year.

Im in college. Next quarter we will be covering exponential and logarithmic equations and functions, graphs of trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, polar coordinates, oblique triangles, vectors and sequences.

Remedial math?

no it called college mathematics I and II.

I dunno.

We have Math 1A, Math 1B which is your typical calculus where they rape you hard.

Then there's Math 16A and 16B which is like retarded baby calculus if not like pre-calculus. But guess what? It's FILLLED with Pre-Med majors because they need to fulfill math requirements and get high GPA....

Well done. How long did you study?
I also choke or something on final exams and don't do too well, but I'll do good on the regular tests during the year.

I slept through high school math courses and got like 99%... got a 5 on AP Calc exam... then when I came here to Duke last semester, Calc II owned me with a B-. :frown:

it cover everything from trigonometry, to imaginary numbers, quadratic equations, square roots, radicals and some other stuff.

Did you get high before the exam to get the best possible answers?

F the haters. Good job - doing well in class always feels good! Congrats!

QFT congrats. Everyone has something that their good at, and while I'm sure most of AT could mop the floor with me in math, I'd like to see how well they hold up in a composition or finance course. 🙂

When I went to college those corses didn't count as math credits towards your major. Seriously though if you are getting excited about that you should enjoy your liberal arts degree to its fullest.

Aye. I can never figure out why the knee-jerk crowd has to jump in as soon as they possibly can and rain on someone's parade. The truth is that there are a lot of people who can barely even pass the class that he got the 90% in, so what's the big deal?
