You in high school?

Im in college. Next quarter we will be covering exponential and logarithmic equations and functions, graphs of trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, polar coordinates, oblique triangles, vectors and sequences.

Remedial math?

no it called college mathematics I and II.

that's calc 1 right (mathematics 1)? i remember that from high school...fun times, we all had networked computers and played networked duke nukem while the teacher was blabbing away...

good times, good times...

Its actually precalc stuff, mid level, getting into trig functions next it sounds like

<--- just took trig last semester

Good jop OP!

Hehe, they're just giving you a hard time. But seriously, good job man, I enjoy math myself but I also see a lot people that struggle with it in college. Keep up the good work.

They teach that at your college? Wow.

Anyways, we shouldn't put him down, everyone has their own challenge in math.

yeah the two math classes I have to take, are just mixtures of all these other kinds of math class. it little of trig, calc, advance algebra, and stuff. Im good at math, it just been awhile since the last time I had a math course. Also I've never taken any kind of calc or trig in high school.

strangely enough, the pre-calc class at the university I attend did the formal definition of limits, my prof felt we couldn't grasp the concept until 3rd year and so felt there was no point in teaching it to us

I would expect that you will have to take a stats course as well, it seems to be the most cross-discipline course in university

ooh gratz =), im taking calculus right now, trig was pretty fun, took it last semester.. dont like logs and ln too much though, and i hate stupid limits, derivatives are ok though..
