Yeah they should tape all the beatings he's given out and include it in a small regular segment in the show. Or why not get a new show produced somewhere else where Jeremy's profanity is unedited and he gets to do whatever he wants including punching the camera crew.
Fuck yeah. Dump all 3 and give us Matt Farah, Adam Corolla and Chris Harris.
Top Gear hasn't been that entertaining for a while IMO. It's just that there's nothing better for car entertainment.
Hammond tweeted: "Gutted at such a sad end to an era. We're all three of us idiots in our different ways but it's been an incredible ride together."
May gave no comment, but updated his Twitter profile to say: "Former TV presenter".

I'm glad he got dropped, our society is fucking stupid when we let celebrities get away with shit that the common man would NEVER get away with.
Idk, if I were the BBC why would I throw away ratings like this...
Because they don't want to set a precedent that a star can get violent with no repercussions. There might be liability involved if he was allowed to stay on while his producer also worked there.
OJ killed two people and got away with it because he was a star..
Sounded like nothing more than a bar fight to me.. If they want to throw away 300 million viewers so be it. I for one will be using this to finally unplug for DTV, the only reason I have been hanging on is for BBC America.

Indeed. And keep in mind the BBC is a public broadcaster. Private companies can get away with stuff at times - and indeed if this were an American TV company I'd expect them to sweep it under the rug - but the BBC is accountable to the UK public.Because they don't want to set a precedent that a star can get violent with no repercussions. People love to live out their automotive fantasies vicariously through this man on television. His popularity does not exempt him from punching co-workers. It's blatantly obvious that firing him was the correct decision. Life will go on for those enamored of him.
Bingo.Host used violence and everyone lost. They made the right call.
Look, he punched a PRODUCER of the show (aka: his boss) over not getting the steak that he wanted. He had a freaking prima-donna hissy fit and hit his boss. For that you get fired and likely blackballed or at least greyballed in any industry.
"Reason for leaving last job?"
"I hit my boss."
"I see... and why did you hit your boss?"
"I didn't get the meal that I wanted."
"I see... and are you going to hit me, when I say 'no' to you too?"
"Yes."
