I'm a solid WinMX guy. But like everyone is saying, I really miss Napster. It was weird because I left college for a semester to do an internship type thing, and during that time I didn't have DSL so I didn't so much MP3 downloading. Also during that time was when Napster died. So I come back to school and there's no Napster. It was really sad.
Kazaa lite for popular music, music videos and other popular files, some programs.
Direct Connect for movies, games and programs.
AudioGalaxy for non-popular/more obscure music.
Is there any difference in KazaaLite vs. downloading Kazaa and removing the spyware with Adaware and the dummy file? >>
No, I don't think so. Basically Kazaa Lite is the same as what you've done, just prepackaged to make it idiot proof (although even that is impossible as I've seen some posts complaining about AdAware picking up the dummy cd_clint.dll). I use Kazaa Lite but very infrequently; it works fine for my needs.

actually yes. Kazaa lite also removes some of the buttons (bonzi buddy and shop), chagnes some of the settings (no bitrate limit is now default) and sets the start page.
i use kazaa lite
i hate it when people rename files to a fake name
=(
i tried dc, but never had success dl anything. because of my limited hd space, i only share about like 21~22 gigs worth of stuff, but thats not good enough to get into the real good hubs..
