Surge in U.S. Concern About Immigration Has Abated
The percentage of Americans wanting less immigration has dropped by nearly half this year to 30%, with 79% now saying immigration benefits the U.S.

Interesting to speculate on what's going on here. Maybe people, having seen what 'cracking down on immigration' actually entails (in terms of creating an authoritarian state), have decided the 'cure' is worse than the 'disease'?
Or maybe events have concentrated minds on the benefits on migration (like having enough workers in particular fields)?
Or is it people suddenly realising their own faces are at risk, causing them to reconsider their support for leopards?
