currently I dirve a 99 bmw 325 xi, nothing fantastic about it.

And I never even take that things engine evne close to max, so I know speed wont be an issue.

My current company is a marketing service company, we create radio ads, tv ads for canadian companies. We are currnetly getting into selling websites etc.

Also, I've recently been working on a new company which will be launched in the next month, im sure you will hear about it on anandtech where I will be "praising" this company I "discovered".

My marketing tactics may not be the most moral, but they work 😉

<< BMW Z8
Ferrari 360 Modena/Spider
Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG
Porsche 911 Turbo or G2

Buy any one of those and still have money for an M5 or even something like a Lotus Elise. Any of those is a better choice than a Dodge Viper (Sorry, ViperGTS).

The Viper is designed for one purpose, & one purpose only: To be the most uncivilized, brute force, overpowered monster that has ever existed. It accomplishes that nicely, be it a stock GTS or a twin turbo creation from Hennessey. It has no class, nor any unnecessary comforts. It is an engine with wheels, little more. But I love it. 🙂 Men talk about Vipers like they talk about sex. It's all about getting off.

That having been said, a Ferrari is a work of art. Men talk about Ferraris like they talk about women they're in love with... Words fail us, & even if we could come up with words they wouldn't be sufficient. Nobody does cars quite like the prancing horse, & nobody can match the spirit that a Ferrari posesses.

Get the Modena.

Viper GTS <-- Doesn't believe a word of this, but will play along anyway

"eq represents everquest past everquest player

When I was starting up my company I was dirt poor, so I had to sell al lmy everquest stuff to start my company. So I made the e-mail to use to sell my account. Got 11,000 dollars for all the stuff along with theaccount and started my company That 11,000 has gone a long way "

You make Me Sick I knew that was the case I made about 10 grand selling EQ in 99-2000 and now I am unemployed and back in school...

want to trade?

This is probaly not the best way to use that money if you really do have it. Plus, this isnt the best forum to ask.

If you really want a nice car, save yourself a decent amount of $$$ and buy a used F355 its a better car than the 360 in many peoples opinion (including my own, I have driven both quite a bit) And I prefer its styling.

If you arent interested so much in speed look at the Bentley Coupés, although they will acually feel faster than a 355 in day to day driving (trust me on this one).

If you want something unique look at Maserati, Panoz, or Z8. There is also Pagani from Italy and some Swedish supercar, both I have heard great things about.

If you want the ultimate in performance for less than a Ferrari look at the Lotus Esprit, they finally got the gearbox sorted, this is a rocket, consitently laps quicker than practically every production car.

If you would be willing to go RHD there is always TVR 😉

Well, it's not much of an issue if people do not believe me 🙂 if ya dont believe me then just play along and give an honest opinion.

Once you guys are done I could really use some advice picking out a private jet; my other one is only a 15 seater and my friends and I have really outgrown it. Plus it's range isn't good enough and I hate refueling all the time on my cross-Europe trips. I've been thinking about getting one big enough to hold my McClaren, but my budget is limited to only $40 million and options aren't great if I want that option 🙁

I'm surprised no one's suggested a Maxima/Altima with supercharger solution. Maybe those Nissan fanboys aren't such pricks afterall.

If you do go with a Ferrari and can find one, stay the hell away from the F1 transmissions. There is nothing better than a traditional Ferrari gated trans. And please, dont even mention the word "Viper"

By the way, if you want style, what about a British car?

The Jaguar XKR 100 convertible (supercharged 370-hp V8, $100K USD) and the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante (420-hp V12, $150K USD) are rather gorgeous and not exactly slow. The Aston Martin Vanquish is about as fast (and expensive) as the 550 Maranello but it's also a beautiful car, hand-built to your specifications.

Bwuahahahaha! Sarcasm in motion! I love it! 😀 Way to go, Skoorb.

"I've recently come into $300,000 thru my business dealings...." My foot! Nice story though.

Being british, i am usaually britcentric. But when it comes to Astons, well. They suck. The Vanquish drives like a truck, and the DB7 is outclassed by a Jag XKR.

Well, like 99.9% of Americans, I have never had a chance to drive an Aston. 🙂 They look damn good, though!

You found that as well? The Vanguish isn't a bad ride, but I find that if there are many bumps on the road at all the thing just jiggles too much!

Okay, lets all act as if this is a hypothetical question...

Skoorb, if you'd like I can show you financial documents if that'd make you shut up for a few minutes so I can get some honest opinions.

Not only would it make me shutup but I'll even appologize and congratulate you on your financial prowess 🙂 This is only hard to believe because so many dozens of people hvae come on to AT in the past with stories like this. Yours could be true but statistically speaking it isn't... post a link to a .jpg of your company and your name and whatever else proving your money and I'll be impressed!

Alright, just gonna apologize for bringing this up here. It seems that some people are too childish, but my offer still stands to anyone who'd like to see financial documents...

I guess I'll have to use my own brain to figure this one out 🙂

Thanks to everyone who helped out, but I got another 2 months to decide 🙂

If anyone wants to carry on a serious converstaion I can be reached by e-mail at admin@qosis.com

Qosis is an outdated site btw 🙂

Sorry, but how the hell do you have a '99 BMW 325Xi? The 'X' implies AWD, and from what I remember, wasn't reintroduced until '01. There wasn't even a 325 made in '99. The 325 was reintroduced in '01 along with the 330. Is it an E46, or an E36?

Why would you care what anyone thinks? Do you think you have to "prove" yourself by showing "financial documents?" Kinda insecure for someone successful enough to buy a Ferrari, no? 😀 Understand, there are many who create this same type of thread talking about how successful they are, yet they're never willing to even so much as post a link to their company's site.

[edit]Btw, if anyone wants to see my financial documents, PM me. I have proof that I make 9,000,000,000/yr. Bill Gates is my father, and I drive a Bufori. I can give you pictures if you don't believe me![/edit]

Skoorb, I just found one of those stories (or so I think). Contact me by AIM, or e-mail, or MSN and I'll send them over to you.

LOL! I thought you were going to prove yourself? Then I call your bluff and you decide that we're too childish? You just came onto a public forum asking for recommendations on an exotic and a couple of people think you're making it up and this is childish? If I ran a successful company I sure as heck wouldn't show my financial docs to strangers on the internet.

EDIT: OK, you can PM Me 🙂
