You don't have to be in a "focus group" to be a shill or FUD spreader ;)
You shill harder for your "side" then Keys does for NV. Does that mean you should be gone out of here? :)

Don't waste you time with [H], your team is going strong at B3D!

Sure you have biased people on both sides. But the focus group thing makes some of them MUCH easier to identify. I mean if NVIDIA gave me free stuff to help promote them I might be more favorable to them. But I would keep every single detail of everything they ever gave or said to me and post the whole thing on the forums once I was done milking their free stuff program for every dime I can get out of them.

The thing is right now most people are going to seem to ''be on the red team'' because really there is no alternative in the high end right now and they own the mid range in terms of features and performance too. Then when you get under the 140$ price point it's a mess of products that are all really similar and you can go either way. Really you have to either be some kind of zealot or maybe you just love your Physx adding tacked on effects in your game to go the green way.

What has confirmation got to do with it?....If it was known, perhaps the angst against nV would waver away the the detriment of the red team!

Unfortunately we live in the real world and facts >>> speculation. Just because you can't arrest all the criminals in the world it does not mean you should not be going after the ones you know about.

If you back in this thread ,it was going fine till post #22 and #24.
Look at these same posters in other threads and the same problems happen over and over.

Guys, this is why we have a "report post" option on our forum.

It's not a Keys problem, it's an overall problem.

Edit: lets get back on topic...........

Maybe some of us should just start an ATI/AMD focus group. We could even have little disclaimers and all. After a few months go by, people will forget it is just some marketing gimmick with the intent to sway random tech forums and we will slowly gain credibility. Hell, maybe ATI/AMD will see that and think someone in marketing set us up and then send us free stuff. Free Bulldozer/6XXX rigs this July anyone?!!?!? The best part is, with our spiffy rigs, when someone says something bad about ATI/AMD upcoming release, we can claim lots of inside knowledge but pout about not being able to share it.

I mean, this seems ideal. Who is with me with this idea? We dont need BSN, Charlie, Keys or anyone else, we can make our own news! People like when that happens right? I mean, I love having conversations about upcoming parts, having a few supposed "insiders" make vague claims about why we are possibly maybe incorrect and then finding out in the end it was all just guesses anyways. People do like that right?!?!?!

So who is with me in the AMD/ATI focus group? I heard AMD is giving away free rigs this July to members, but only to members that have been part of the focus group for at least a year!

Dude that's a really good idea. PM me. I'm totally down for that. That would be a lot of fun. We need to call it something besides "AMD focus group" though.
