And you would prefer 18 years of government support for the unwanted baby because that is cheaper? I doubt it. I suspect that you want the government to prevent the abortion and THEN the government to provide no financial aid/support for the unwanted baby.

Ironically blacks are currently 5 times more likely to have abortions than whites. There is a segment of fundamentalist white Christian conservatives who do not like black people.
