Oh please...that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. There will always be someone richer...but to anyone feeling "poor" on 10 million dollars has serious issues...even in NYC. And where did her other 13 million go? Sounds kind of like she is going quickly through her 23 million quicker than she though trying to run with the super rich and she is starting to realize she's not at that level...boohooo...

Taxes? Unpaid bills? Private drivers? Who knows...

All I can say is cry me a fucking river. Tell the bitch to move to a cheaper place if her millions aren't doing it for her where she is now....otherwise, STFU (to her).

Didn't think she seemed that whiny, it was more of how joining the millionaires club isn't all that lifestyle changing these days. And at least she isn't blowing though the dough like we have seen with others that run into "sudden fortunes" (ie powerball winners that have to declare bankruptcy).

$10mil is rich in middle America. When you need $5Mil to buy a nice apartment in Manhattan where everything is more expensive than $10mil is definitely not rich.

When they showed the guy from Silicon Valley at age 45 with about 3.5 million in net-worth, I felt for the guy especially when the median housing price is in the $750K range and a nice home of say 2000sqft on a 8000sq ft lot in a good nighborhood will set you bak $950K.

These people should move to middle America and enjoy their lives, instead they continue to raise their standard of living even higher and consume what I would consider overpriced junk.

Although it is not like she has to buy the house outright, with cash. She can put a sizable down payment down, and then have a low mortgage while building equity. And there are definitely 1br apartments in Manhattan that are really nice that can be had for less than $1 million....

This just sounds like it took her a couple years to realize that yes, one can in fact spend millions a year (for her, probably on useless crap). Not to mention the fact that the publicity she got when she sold the site, and her running in the circles of the 'mega rich', makes me wonder why she has not parlayed any of that into landing a nice media job in the city that pays at least $150k....which she could then spend on bills, etc.

LOL.:D

I almost spit coffee on my keyboard.

So I'm only worth tens of millions and not hundreds of millions. Oh woe is me!

She's retarded. 10 million dollars is enough for everyone, provided that he or she spends it wisely.

If you decide to spend half of it, take the other half and spare it, put it in a 3-4% interest (yearly) bank account like ING Direct (or even better, depending on what she can get).
Just to give you an idea... 5 million $ at 4% yields $200k, or nearly $17k per month, which is way enough to live, alone, pay whatever rent you have to pay in a decent penthouse in NYC (prolly not Manhattan's Fifth Avenue), in Brooklyn/Queens (which is still decent).

You forget that close to half of that will be taken out in taxes. 100K after taxes isn't a lot in NYC.

Just because she falls into a high tax bracket doesn't mean she deserves even an ounce of sympathy. She is still filthy rich and bitching about feeling "middle class". If she is feeling middle class with 10 million before taxes then clearly her "feelings" have absolutely nothing to do with money. For her, it will never be enough. I don't care who you are. Being plagued by constant feelings of dissatisfaction with that much money is no way to live. She is pathetic and weak.

I think that she had the expectation that $10 million would set her up as one of the super-rich, and then was disappointed when she found out that it wouldn't. Honestly, I think that most Americans would have the same exact expectations. How many people have actually looked at the price of a private jet, or the exclusive "services" she mentioned in the video?

She's not middle-class by any means, but yeah, she should move out of NY if she wants to stretch her millions further.

This was like the interviews with those living in the Bay Area and the like. Making 7 figures a year and still having to reach into savings at times.

Much of it though has to do with constantly trying to keep up with neighbors and selling things at a loss they just bought 'moments' ago.

With 10million that should pay out a nice $300k a year just in savings account interest.

Whatever. Even a five percent return on that principle would be 500k/year. I wouldn't be riding around in a 200ft yacht but I'd be doing quite well and wouldn't have to work another day if I didn't want to. She needs to STFU.
