FEEL GOOD movie

SHawshank redemption

TBS has made this movie its own personal bitch, but no matter how many times I see it playing, I cannot switch the channel. Truely one of the most dramatic movies that I have yet to see.

I'll checkout Requiem for a Dream.

I've seen Bend it and Walk to Remember. Bend it was awesome, Walk to Remember was weird.

Agreed.

I've seen it at least 20 times, and I never get tired of it. Great movie.

what the heck are you guys talking about... Requiem for a Dream was one weird depressing movie... you fools trying to drown him with nearly the exact opposite of what he wants! =P

While 2 of them are among my very favorites (Requiem and Apocalypse) I do not quite consider them to be "feel good" movies, as they are so disturbing.

Shawshank Redemption is one of the greatest drama movies ever created, if not the greatest. It is a friggin awesome movie.

Other movies ... maybe Men of Honor, Forest Gump, Independence Day, or Saving Private Ryan ...

Forest gump is now considered a novelty and many people walk into it having been exposed to tha mentality. In a simply raw viewing however, it was fantastic.

Not in a long time have I seen a move sch as this. The first time I like it. The second time I loathed it. The third time I couldn't get enough of it.

It is quality, but quaint and for a niche audience that values dramatic actig more so than action etc
