Chocolat was pretty feel-good-ish, if I remember correctly.

Finding Nemo, another one, Lost in Translation . . ..

How the fvck is Lost in Translation a feel good movie.

Nevermind I remember. I felt good when it was over and I felt good that I rented it instead of paying a bunch of money at the theater.

Requiem for a dream,

Definitely!

feel good movies are light hearted. and although good, requiem for a dream is anything but light hearted.

that goes for Apocalypse Now, The Pianist, and SHawshank redemption

Requiem is in no way a feel good movie. I hope those saying that are being sarcastic. But...I argue that a film does not have to be light hearted to be feel good.

Jesus. A lot of broken sarcasm detectors here... But you're about the latter part of your post. Green Mile being a perfect example.

I agree with one of the above posters... Amelie is one of the ultimate feel good movies

Well, when it keeps being repeated it is in no way funny, and being that it isn't funny, there is no reason for sarcasm. I just don't see the point to repeat sarcasm, seems shockingly uncreative to me.

TBS has made this movie its own personal bitch, but no matter how many times I see it playing, I cannot switch the channel. Truely one of the most dramatic movies that I have yet to see.

I saw it. I just couldn't see the drama in it. Seemed pretty normal

If you couldn't see the drama in Shawshank... well, then you've probably never seen a dramatic movie.
