Your tears are delicious.
If you want more go to huffington post. it is bust a taste of what things would look like if trump pulls off an unlikely win on the 8th. The crying and lamenting will be tireless.

This is so unfair ! Hillary is so awesome and obviously our best choice for President. We as a country need to come together and just ignore the crimes she's committed or had her staff commit, some leaders should just be above the laws of this country.

Exactly. Everyone knows the Clintons are above the law. Maybe they can offer Comey a position at the "Foundation" in exchange for dropping the investigation.....again.

The up side....
Trump still has a few days left to grope another woman, call some minority a disgusting name, praise another clan member, and then lie about it.
Just when you think Hillary has screwed this up, Trump always tops her.
Donald always comes thru. That you can count on.
Does Donald's ego have no limits?
Trump MUST have the last word, even in scandal.

Trump:
"Sure, the FBI has reopened the Clinton email investigation, but I can top that. I'll build a wall entirely from PU@@Y PUBES of women that I have personally groped and humiliated. Top THAT Hillary beast."

This was in the NYT Editorial picks in the comments of the main article from them on this and I think sums up my feelings on it nicely:

If Hillary Clinton had been forthright months ago, her email problem wouldn't have been an issue. But instead, Hillary Clinton acted like... Hillary Clinton. A career politician, not a public servant.

By the way she and her staff have consistently dodged the facts and avoided responsibility makes her handling of the issue just as important as the issue itself. How many organizations have had 5 staffers (including an IT employee) given federal immunity?

Hillary Clinton and the DNC pushed out the only decent human being in the Presidential race, Bernie Sanders. Her campaign manager called him a "doofus" and now they are counting on that doofus to help deliver his once-idealistic supporters (aka "basement" dwellers).

Maybe the "backward" Catholics, "needy Latinos", or "basket of deplorables" will come to her aid, instead.

It's no small wonder many voters feel Mrs. Clinton is also damaged goods and even if she wins, her stature will be compromised by these unending revelations.

You can be sure that the usual suspects would've pivoted against "the only decent human being in the Presidential race" about as fast as they've pivoted on the FBI/comey. Would you consider yourself among them?

If there is "criminal stuff", his job is to prepare a case and give it to the prosecutors to press charges, not to say there may be something or not, we'll look into it later.

You have to agree that Comey is on the contrary pretty smart to give a little bit to very insecure and fickle people whose entire impression of someone is based on trite complements or such. At least someone's been learning something from this Trump ordeal.

Comey was not a cop, he was a politician lawyer and has his own motivations. Before it was to bury the email server stuff. Now he can't ignore it because it came through sex crimes.

Being reported by NYT that there are now tens of thousands of emails.

Hopefully the ctr trolls are getting overtime pay, shit is getting real.

Comey says that he felt like needing to publish this because they/he otherwise would've been accused of holding this information back due to elections.
I also read somewhere that "an official" said that the letter is "carefully worded".

The extremely inconvenient timing of this information, and the deliberately vague wording (which basically doesn't say anything and leads more to speculation than anything!) plus their admission the letter was "carefully worded"...I am sorry to say leaves only one conclusion:

They are sitting on a bombshell of some kind.

Do you see this like that as well?

It's certainly a fine line that has to be walked. If nothing's found then releasing this affects the outcome of an election that's a problem. But if there is something legitimately there (and he believes the chance of that is great enough to warrant this) then he comes under fire for hiding it. He's in a tough spot either way.

What Comey believes wrt the emails is speculation & innuendo on your part. It doesn't matter what's in the emails, likely nothing, but withholding the info from congress this close to the election would give them them a chance to fire up the grill afterwards.

It's straight CYA on his part, I think. Either way I doubt it'll have much effect on the election.

Repubs will never forgive him for not indicting her back in July. They find his lack of partisanship truly appalling, apparently.

I didn't read the thread but it's hilarious how quickly the fbi/comey went from illuminati stooge to the second coming.
Not so much on this forum, but in newsgroups and in the comments of the NY Times and other media outlets, I've noticed how Comey went from being a noble professional who put country ahead of party to a partisan hack who is executing the finishing move of some vast conspiracy, and somehow the Russians got a hold of the Weiner device or something.

Ok, that is what is presumed. You dont reopen an investigation on 'no evidence found'. You do it on hard evidence...ie..classified emails from the deleted server.

Hillary is toast.
If you believe it, I'm relieved.

Sure I have, you just get me on some miswording or such. It's okay, I know you can't help it.

Anyway, see you in 11 days. I am prepared to eat crow, but are you?

Lets make a little bet. If Clinton wins, you can't post a single negative comment about her or her administration. If trump wins then I (or we) can't post a single negative thing about trump and his admin.

Deal?

It's really funny how desperate the sources you parrot are to tie Hillary to some kind of sex thing after it became infeasible to deny the wanton degeneracy of their guy.

I'm sure there are democratic partisans, but Comey looking out for himself is hardly a conspiracy. He didn't find anything concrete before which pissed off a lot of people, but this scores points with them without actually doing anything.

Well that's really how it looks. Essentially he is disclosing something that in almost any other case, he would never disclose. The FBI investigates so many cases on a daily basis and gets new information every day about cases that are both opened and closed. How many of these "newly discovered possible pieces of evidence" do you hear about? You don't hear about them because its stupid and dangerous to let every tom, john, and harry know about every useful and non-useful piece of information the FBI acquires, talk less of how it may be potentially damaging to the very case you are trying to bring forward. To prosecutors and people with a law background, it appears highly questionable to do this sort of thing. Highly questionable indeed.

I thought you were going back under your rock, rather than continuing with your wildly error prone speculations ?

Any ongoing investigation will not be completed before election day, and are highly likely not to amount to anything.

Comey really is going over the line as far as his job at this point, by preemptively going this route 11 days prior to the election.

Would be akin to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue releasing statements regarding ongoing Trump IRS investigations.

Bullshit. Comey did not release the letter to the public. Repubs did that. Having been forced to testify before Congress, he's legally obligated to inform them of new evidence wrt the broader email investigation.

Under oath Comey had stated that the bureau had completed its review. Once he learned that there were new emails that required examination, Comey had to notify Congress that he had to amend his testimony because it was no longer true.

To wait until after the election would be to hang his ass out in the breeze. Nobody said he was stupid, did they?

5 days till the election. This is just like ben Ghazi ??? You dont really thing the FBI can schedule witness and hold a public hearing within 5 days do you? This is a little late. If this is so important put the election on hold.

They found classified emails that Hillary deleted on the assistants phone. The assistant was stupid enough to be in contact with Weiner.

The campaign is just done.
You fucking dolt, it was his wife. Can I be on your ignore list now?

I stand corrected, was surprised Comey would have released it publically to begin with.

Now it makes more sense.

Amazingly, everything you said is objectively incorrect.
