He did not handle round one professionally. His profession is to investigate, and then bring charges if a crime can be proven or not bring charges if it can't. It's not his profession to publicly chastise people who he decided to not bring charges against. His profession is not to try to make everyone happy by splitting the difference. That's a politician's profession.
Also, is pandering to blackmail his profession too?

His job is to investigate. The AG will bring charges if necessary. I agree though that he shouldn't have said anything until he was arresting her.

I think what is really happening is Comey is trying to please everyone, and the Republicans bashing the FBI is getting to him, so he is trying to throw them a bone before the election. Again, it's not his job, but he thinks it is.

His effort to show that the FBI is not politicized, just politicized the whole issue.

Umm he said the investigation was complete, you hack.

Read the fucking article(s) for yourself shit-stain. Or look at the numerous statements that the investigation was never closed in order to re-open. Or, continue being ignorant. Your choice.

the way I understand the chain of events is,

1. the FBI was conducting an investigation into Weiner sexting a minor

2. in the course of the investigation, they uncovered emails sent to Hillary's private server from a device owned by either Huma or Weiner

3. as these emails are relevant to the earliest HRC investigation, they were required to notify Congress and the new emails are being reviewed

there's no indication thus far that the emails contained classified information, but they may have been part of the emails that Hillary flagged as "personal" and deleted.

Maybe they were trying to keep it quiet and had to make an official statement due to a potential leak? Comey handled round one professionally. No reason to question his ability to do so again. The timing couldn't be worse, especially if this results in a Trump presidency.

Comey has to cover his ass w/ congress or they'll cut the FBI budget regardless of the consequences to the country. So he has to release new information to them as he gets it. Otherwise they'll accuse him of playing politics.

It seems obvious that the FBI won't say anything else until after the election & highly likely that their judgement will remain unchanged.

Repubs will just use it to keep trying to tear down the evil Hillary because it's all they can do. Building up the Donald is obviously impossible at this point.

I did, and read the letter to congress. I also watched live when he said the investigation was closed and refused to open it back up numerous times by numerous requests by Republicans. Now, go blame Russia for your stupidity

I can't believe it's being reopened because of Anthony Weiner's sexting! I'm almost going to be sad when this election is over.

Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills should face criminal charges over classified materials sent to MULTIPLE private email accounts of Cheryl Mills. The discovery of new crimes BREAKS their immunity agreements.

Hillary's chief of staff used personal email for State business
Approximately 10 percent of Abedin’s emails released through Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act requests were addressed to one of Mills’ various personal email addresses.

Several were found to contain such highly sensitive material that the State Department redacted 100 percent of the content pages, marking many pages with a bold stamp reading “PAGE DENIED.”

Oh look who decides to crawl out of his safe space for a bit.

Remember before the first debate how he was crowing about how Clinton the 'battleaxe' was done and how Trump victory was totally going to happen?

Then she demolished him three straight times and he turned out to be a serial sex offender. Our friend LK promptly disappeared.

Impending loss? lol.

I am pretty confident you and your arrogant ass will be eating plenty of crow in 11 days.

Well fivethirtyeight does give him the most favorable odds at about 17%! How have you been enjoying the fact that Trump appears to be a serial sex offender?

It's pretty funny that you would try and call anyone here arrogant though. There aren't many people who boast more about shit they end up being wrong about than you.

Wow, 538, so impressed. How'd the primaries work out for Benji? Brexit? Ohhh, poor poll analyzer didn't do so well there. GIGO.
