I had exactly the same thought. I surmise that Trump the Gambler doesn't make decisions with any sort of analysis. It's all about his whim. Doubt that anyone here would disagree, and many have observed the same.

Under that scenario, there's a 50-50 chance he could make a proper decision, provided that some other bias doesn't force him in the wrong direction. Such would certainly occur in regards to an issue that had a previous Obama decision-stamp on it: he'd reverse a good decision regardless. That's the reason he gutted State Department, and the reason he expelled all the US Attorneys vulnerable to it.

But in the matter of Barr, I cannot be sure what factors made him put Barr in as a nomination. He knew he'd have to get Senate approval, and someone may have suggested Barr. So maybe the entire country got lucky, just for that.
I think at this point, this is as good as it's going to get. If Barr got rejected, Trump would come up with somebody with literally no public service in their history and or just worse.

If the guy who can't even use email and relies on his son for his knowledge of 'the cyber' is able to defeat the NSA we have a big problem.

It could be possible that the NSA CHOOSES not to monitor his phone, I don't know how that all would work, but it's hard to believe they can't.

What would stop him from letting Putin (or another Russian during their meetings) from installing an app that would let them covertly communicate?

You know, I noticed that this thread was bumped. The additional content did not contain @pcgeek11 admitting that he was wrong after so boldly saying he would if he was wrong. We're still waiting. Grow a god damned spine.

Practically almost might have nearly acted criminally.

I've been looking at what would be needed to open such an investigation and congratulations, Trump is the only one to reach the threshold.

There is nothing that nears any equivalency from any President in US history. The investigators would have needed much more than public behavior or what you can know to even start an investigation much less kick it up to special counsel. There needs to be at least legally defined reasonable suspicion to start and likely actual evidence sufficient to kick it to where it's wound up.

So we have declared criminal activity by Trump via the outcome of Cohen's trial with Trump being named as complicit.

Then there's obstruction. and now very serious information that rises to the threshold of being followed up on regarding Trump selling the nation out, not "practically"

Whether this is revealed to be true but recall Trump's position on people being investigated on far lesser potential crimes than treason.

Ain't lookin' good.

So if Trump is found to have committed crimes, not on the forum, but in factual findings based on evidence will you go "practically" and Clinton to mitigate?

That "practically" was so real that an investigation was started. I guess Clinton should have been made an unindicted co conspirator.

There is no "practically" in that sentence. Trump was outed as the one who directed a felony to be committed. He is a named unindicted conspirator, who isn't in Cohen's shoes at this time because the DOJ says it must put Trump above the law.

That protection does not relieve him of the fact that he committed a crime, and that exemption from justice does not last forever.

So yeah if you want your criminal President and be proud of him I can't stop you. If you want to go after Bill, then all for it because I don't care. Trump is a criminal based on criminal acts.

But back to Bill, ask Graham as he seems to be keen investigating conspiracy theories from olden days. Maybe the truth about the Lindberg baby will come out.

I can only imagine your reaction if the exact same thing were found about Hillary Clinton. You would go absolutely ballistic.

When are you going to put your country before your party?

He's slipping with his distractions. Has to go back two decades and expects us to defend any demonstrated wrongdoing by any President? "Trump? BILL CLINTON". It throttles the imagination.

- That would be Brandon invoking his "Alt-Right Privilege" .. who are we kidding its just RP today. The rules, standards and morals that he holds you to, does not apply to himself. Them selves.
