Within our legal system you need a strong case and guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The fact that government agents were involved before the fact, having had influence as to where this was headed was the flaw in the plan. The plan to hold these people accountable. Oh sure.... it's ugly and seems so unfair for these guys to get off, but say hello to the American legal system at work. One would imagine that professionals could do better, or don't do it at all.

I personally think jury deliberations should be recorded and subject to review under limited circumstances. Jurors found to refuse to deliberate in good faith should be subject to penalties.

And how do you assess that? Don't get me wrong, it's very easy to spot. But there's not a good way to define it the same way you can measure speed, BAC, etc.

He assesses it by juries doing what he wants, when he wants and how he wants. Fuck the law, fuck the Constitution and fuck the accused civil rights.

That's almost exactly like the Mohamud case in Portland in 2010. He was found guilty though. I wonder why?

Trump's buttboy says what?
There was a time that liberals looked with a suspicious eye on conspiracies and dangers and other presentations by the FBI and took them with a grain of salt the size of a car. To see a dumbass like yourself be so gullible and ready to accept every idiotic thing they do and have done is hilarious.

The same old FBI, just a different target that you like.

We’re not arguing that these tactics are now all of a sudden “good”. We’re asking why do courts convict in some cases and acquit in others, and whether the judge’s/juries’ sympathies are related to skin color/background???

Whenever the new Hassan Minhaj special (King’s Jester) drops on Netflix, he’ll have a goody
segment on how Muslims were targeted post 9/11 with these same tactics. I went to a pre-taping show and learned a lot more about this case:
