Fwiw, Favre (re-)earned my respect by not taking one bogus snap to keep his streak alive. Whatever else can be said about him, he's one physically tough mofo.

yeah, he'll be back out there. He got tackled hard and had his left shoulder driven into the ground. Took quite awhile to get him up off the field.

Dont' get me wrong. That guy has taken hits that would knock half these pussy QB's out there now out for the season. He has taken more of those hits than anyone can count. Did you see the pics of his ankle and thigh after last season? I wouldn't even be able to walk after that and this old guy is out there running around?

Favre is a great QB. He has brass balls the size of my head. He is old though and its probably time for him to pack up his toys and go home.

every time I look at that pic, I try to figure out which part is his foot. Then I see the blob that probably is his foot and I get grossed out. And I don't get grossed out easy. Just imagine that is your foot and they tell you that you have to go get chased around by 11 guys the size of gorillas. Screw that!
