Numbers 31:15-17

15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the LORD in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the LORD’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

Only HAL would ask for your favorite bible verse and then call you a homophobe for your selection. Fucking awesome...

Fucking troll...

Mines this:

‎Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard." - Leviticus 20:27

Most of the people I know who actually have a favorite Bible passage at least get the chapter/verse right.

Leviticus 20:27 is "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them."

It is not "Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard."

Allisolm,

Can you please explain why the mods allow this sorry excuse of a Neckbeard thread wasn't closed when this parody was locked????:

Double standard?

Gee, so many. Where to begin? How about:

"If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the girl’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done a disgraceful thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. " -Deuteronomy 22:20-1

Enforce this today, and you'd soon likely run out of stones.

I'll bet he's also non-white. 🙄

Is it true that minority statuses cancel each other out? So, gay, non-white. I think the non-white cancels the gay, therefore leaving him non-minority status and open to flaming. Hopefully he's not Jewish.

Yes, and he is also an Atheist. This is nothing more than another sad attempt for him to troll.

Thank you /// this is the truth and only the truth. The mods allow Neckbeard (and others) to post numerous threads mocking Christianity ... yet lock "parody" threads about muslims and their beliefs.

When will "religion" and other people's beliefs finally be off-limits in OT.

I guess never ...

Thanks McMurphy ... a friend's request is on the way ...

So to be clear and nobody is confused... Mocking religion is ok but mocking mocking religion is a violation.

Yes, I'd like this answered as well. Mocking Christianity by morons like Neckbeard is getting old ... FATS. But i guess it's OK to not OK to mock other beliefs ...

We should be able to point out how ridiculous the bible is. Same for the quran. Freedom of religion doesnt give you the right to not have your religion laughed at.

Silly beliefs and ideas in general should be addressed the same way. There's no reason exempt religions.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that ancient texts are ridiculous. What's ridiculous is how many religious people hold their own book to be a message from the creator of the Universe (and all others merely ramblings of crazy people).

god calling bears down to kill 42 people is ridiculous. If soembody wants to put al their faith in a book written by primitive peoples then fine but they should NOT get butthurt when people laugh at said book.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is absolutely ridiculous and people can still appreciate it as a literary piece. Not many people believe that it describes real events. Those that do get laughed at.

The Bible contains the views of the people who wrote the texts and of the various editors who modded them to suit their own needs. Just because most of it isn't "true" doesn't mean we should dismiss it entirely.

We should only view it as a piece of ancient literature.. and nothing more. What do to call people who live their total lives following to a book?
