Yep he did the music for Guild Wars, and I really enjoyed hearing that.
Personally, Killzone 2's soundtrack is really surprising me. Orchestral-heavy, bombastic, and very sweeping at all the right moments. Generally it just kind of there and adds a layer to the action, almost making it like a battlefield drum, inspiring you to move faster or shoot more.
But at times, it just puts me in awe, pretty powerful.
But man... I'm having trouble recalling what games would be my favorite for soundtrack. Usually I really enjoy it while I'm playing it, but I kind of forget exactly how much I enjoyed it once I haven't played a game in awhile.
I remember Final Fantasy VIII was pretty enjoyable, iirc. And FFX had some great tracks.
Xenosaga Ep 1 was just awesome, in every way, and I'm pretty sure the music was apart of that awesomeness.
Metal Gear Solid 4, I think, had some great tracks.
the Halo 3 opening track (menu screen) always gets me, sounds epic. And the end-game track has that nice touch to it.
