Most of what I listen to isn't on the radio (like KT I'm not douchebag elitist/hipster, but I also listen to mainly punk).

Out of those, I'd say The Queers - Punk Rock Confidential. It didn't get very good reviews in relation to the rest of their albums but it's by far my favorite.

Avenue A - Never the Less

Awesome awesome album.

Years ago Baileys had a comercial that had one of their songs in it. The one were everyone was floating around drinking balls of baileys cream.

The worldwide version of it played a song from 4 Heros (another great album) but the US version played Avenue A's Swing it back.

It's hard to say that the best selling act of all time is underrated, but to the last couple generations of music fans, the Beatles have been marginalized, when in fact every single thing any of the four of them has ever recorded or touched is pure gold.

Their follow up album was great as well : Here Today, Guano Tomorrow

Dayglo Abortions - Feed us a Fetus

Classic album but I thought most considered it their best. I'm actually a huge fan of Here Today, Guano Tomorrow, though of course their cover of Almost Cut My Hair on Two Dugs Fucking is one of my favourite songs ever.

KT

I Mother Earth - Scenery and Fish (one of my favorite albums of all time)
Foo Fighters - Wasting Light (one of their best releases IMO)
Silverchair - Frogstomp (mostly the whole band that are all but unknown anymore)
Alice in Chains unplugged - (so easy to listen through this whole thing...)

I guess some of these are not considered under-rated but you certainly don't hear people talking about them. A lot of people bash Frogstomp but I think it's a great CD especially for how young they were when it came out.

Alice in Chains unplugged is very good. Easily one of my favorites of all time... Don't know about unknown though. Everyone should know about it at least.

All the killers albums

Although they do get played on the radio, their "mainstream" songs are actually my least favorite.

hell yeah I'm serious.

Don't get me wrong, they got plenty of 11/10 hits, but they also got plenty of 0/10 duds too.

Newp. Just like Zepplin/Floyd/Tool/Jane's Addiction (until that last album), every damn one of them is perfect, you just haven't heard it right yet.

I'm obviously being somewhat facetious, but I'd have a hard time naming a bad George Harrison tune, much less a Beatles song.

Can't we discuss the Lusk album instead?
