SNAP! totally forgot about that. I got that for xmas one year as well. That should definitely be at the top of my list, I loved that thing. I had another one that rolled and had two giant missles on it. I'll have to see if i can find a link to it....

Edit. Found it.

😀

yep, Rolling Thunder? I haven't clicked on the link, but I'm sure that is what you are talking about and I suddenly remembered the name.

I beggged and begged and begged for that thing, finally got it for a birthday. It was tits. That was #2 or #1 for me in the GI Joe world.

Edit: yep. 😀 I loved how the little yellow missles came out of the giant missles. They put missles in our missles because they knew we liked to missle while we missle.

:hmm:

Silly kids.

It would have to be the year that my parents splurged and got me a brand new rock and a brand new stick.
My old ones were getting pretty badly worn.

I still have my six million dollar man doll and shuttle. Got it in the early 70s.

One toy I had and cant find nor know the name off was this car and motorcyclye toy where you had to pump the air into them from a gadget that you kneeled on, you would pump then lower the ramp and the car or motorcycle would take off. Any one remember? You would have to at least be in your 40s now to remember.

Damn youngsters with your electronic crap.

Tonka truck. Quality. Not the cheap crap you get these days. Would ride it like a skateboard.

Bike with a banana seat. I was the MAN. 7 years old.

Skates that attached to our shoes. Kinda sucked until concrete was invented and my folks paved the drive.

Modern hydraulic concrete with Portland Cement was "invented" in 1824...Tonka trucks came along a bit later...so did skates that attached to shoes.
Are you having a Senior Moment?

😛

I can't believe you remembered the name of it. I wish I still had my vehicles, no idea what happened to them. I recently gave my 7 year old all of my men though. Giant tupperware container full of about 100 and some odd men with acessories. On some of them their legs and waist fell off because the rubber band dry rotted. One of these days I'll have to see if they sell or make something that would work to fix them. I surprisingly still have all the pieces to the men.

And in case I forget....Merry Christmas, Boomer, to you and yours.

i dont remember getting my SNES, but i do remember getting Final Fantasy 3 in my stocking one year. My parents got wise and they had to pry me away at noon to have christmas with the family. I would get them up at the butt crack of dawn on christmas. 😀

It was a box of different colored building blocks.

I didn't understand it at the time but it took me a few years later for me to realize my dad gave up dinner a few times to buy it.

Wow! It seems like everyone on these forums is bragging about bonuses and new electronics and you put it all in perspective.
