lol, trident, lol. I love me a good SLR, (And I have a modern DSLR as well as an AE1-Program, c. 1978, I think?) but you honestly don't understand the argument, do you?
anyway, as far as the toothbrush argument goes:sure there is a qualitative difference between the electric class and the manual class, but I think within those classes, it's still nothing but marketing BS with a bunch of nebulous "studies" tossed in to create some perceived difference of 0.05% value.
I tend to liken the electric toothbrush industry to the razor industry. --especially now that we have "vibrating" razors! OOOOO!
the funny thing is, from straight razor to safety razor, there has been no discernible increase in tool quality. The safety razor (today's standard), only added the greater safety of shaving, which is certainly true. But other than that, the quality of the shave is still rather inferior to a tool that has been around since Roman times--whose biggest advancement came with the development of superior mirrors (you could now shave yourself!).
2 blades? 3 blades...5 blades? lol. vibrating blades? lol. Pure BS.
Amazing, the pack of lies and BS upon which companies like Gillette have built their fortunes; and god bless them for it. 😀
