IV with the whales is my favorite. It's stupid but enjoyable. Probably because I watched it thousands of times as a child. Oh well. Beyond that I'd say 3 is very good.

First Contact on the other hand is terrible. They break the Prime Directive about 87 times during the movie, without even a second thought.

Oh man, that whole scene was cringe worthy. Ruined the entire movie right there.

With the borg having their way there would be no Prime Directive, so....

Star Trek 11 (2009) sucked.

"I should have killed you when I had the chance!"... oh, brother

"Hmm, violate the Prime Directive with the best intentions and in the hope that I'll survive, or don't with the absolute certainty that I won't exist as a result... decisions, decisions..."

Besides the whole premise being outlandish, multiple times they do things like tell cochran how there's a statue of him outside the school, and how they sing songs with his name in them, and he was their hero, etc. etc. etc.

They've already had to tell him that he has to launch the ship because humanity's future depends on it, and the rest was pretty tongue-in-cheek.

Search for Spock ... felt like Wrath of Khan part II

hehe a sequel with no Khan, a non speaking Spock, and a different actress playing Saavik. It was fairly boring IMO. Since Khan was blown up with the genesis bomb, they should have had his DNA infused into the Spock clone. It would have made as much sense as what they ended up doing, except cooler. Almost like a movie version of Mirror Mirror episode, or they should have simply done a Mirror Mirror based movie.

Just to be clear, you want to know what we feel is the least objectionable of the crappy Star Trek movies? 😉

I voted for First Contact, although, for me, it was a toss up between First Contact and Voyage Home.

I voted for both of those.
