I do not know the names of any Rap songs except for "Ice Ice Baby" that I recall from second or third grade, since then I have not intentionally heard any rap songs. I guess my favorite would have to be the one that I hear when I am the drunkest, as I tend to tolerate it much better when I'm completely plastered. Though I don't understand your taste in music, I'll leave it at agreeing to disagree rather then fueling the foundation of a potential festering flame fest. Personally, I think rap is distastefull and very unpleasurable and painfull to listen to, however, there are those who say the same thing about death metal, and I just can't get enough death metal.

NWA - Straight Outta Compton

Other favorites: Ice T - Midnight. Stuff by Cypress Hill, EPMD, MC Ren, Ice Cube (The predator). Old skool stuff (when I was in college). Don't listen to rap anymore.

Yo Little Brother - Nolan Thomas

YO LITTLE BROTHER

I got a brother younger than I
And my little brothers on the wild side
He?s hangin out getting high always on the scene
And always rappin to the girls
You know what I mean
And when pop came in tonight he found
Little brother was not around
He looked up checked the clock
And said
Go and get him from off the block
Chorus:
I called yo yo little brother
What ya out here trying to discover
Yo yo yo little brother
Ya gonna get it from your dad and your mother

I checked every place I thought he might of gone
Until I came across a house with something going on
I looked in the window there was brother and his crew
And he was doing everything a little brother shouldn?t do
I?m not gonna call his name
His name is not his type of thing

I said ?what you doing up after three??
He said ?you don?t know, you better hang with me?
Chorus:
I called yo yo little brother
What?s you out here trying to discover
Yo yo yo little brother
Ya gonna get it from your dad and your mother
Yo yo little brother what ya out here trying to discover
Yo yo yo little brother
It?s gonna hurt you one way the other

I said if you think your cool don?t be a fool
Little brother come home with me
He said there?s nothing home that can turn me on
that?s why I?m out here in the streets
And what?s up with you
You did it too
So don?t tell me how to beware
I said yeah I was down but I turned around
And that?s why I?m still here little brother?..Last Chorus

"Yo Little Brother" peaked at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100, #26 on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart and #9 on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles chart.

Now that's true Old School.

That's a tough one... for now I'll say Aesop Rock's '1000 Deaths'.

ps. ignore the haters, they're just expressing racism in a socially acceptable manner
