And Torrie now lives in The Woodlands in town and opened up a woman's boutique thing. I dying to go over there and check her out.

Jake The Snake was pretty awesome, but Roddy Piper was the man. Loved that guy, he was hilarious.

KT

Piper's the shit, when he Smashed Jimmy Snuka in the head with a Coconut was epic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZbZseTuQ1I - Coconut action at around 2:10, was a real coconut and they said this pretty much ended Snuka's wrestling career. Coconuts are hard as fuck, I can't imagine how much that had to hurt.

omfg.. 1984... look how young Mr. McMhon was holy crap..

that did have to hurt.. he smacked the crap outa him with that real coconut.

no Hacksaw love?

That dude was the best!

HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I loved him and his 2x4 as a kid. I read a story a few years back about how he never had a belt in WWF. That's sad because he was funny as shit and a pretty sound wrestler, even if he was more of just a brawler. It's also pretty epic how he had life threatening Cancer and not only beat it, but came back to continue to wrestle in his late 40's.

I should of known this thread would go like gangbusters with all you nerds.

You know the funny thing is.. as large as the WWF/E was is and has become.. I know very few people that actually watch it besides me and 1 other guy at work.

but it sells out in 45 seconds whenever there is an event here..

I think people are closet fans =P

A good friend of mine has followed it forever. I watched it some when I was a kid, but don't follow it or watch it now a days, good fun though I am sure.

I was fixing a computer a few years ago at sombodies house, her small kids were watching the 24/7 WWE channel on TV. SHIT they were showing a ton of old matches from when I was a kid. Was still fun as hell to watch them. Another wrestler who was just great to watch was Mr. Perfect. The way he'd spit his gum out and hit it in mid air lol I use to try to do that but could never pull it off like he did.
