Ah yeah I started watching again in September of last year. I watch every week now, gives me something to do plus it's quite enjoyable more so than most the crap on the TV. I do miss JR though.

It became a little too much of a soap opera for me, so I can't really get into it. I still have buddies that watch religiously though.

I missed most of the last decade so I don't know if that is a good or bad thing, but what they are putting out right now(especially Smackdown brand) I'm quite enjoying.

SHIT almost forgot to post this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwoQ2b3k8Uo

Ted DiBiase was such an asshole, this clip makes me mad, yeah I know it was a shoot and not real, but still lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFwj_2UAyEE&feature=related - here's a clip of Ted's son slapping him, holy shit that was a good slap.

Nothing is real, the fights are not real, the injuries are not real, hell not even the medics that "come to the rescue" or the ambulances that are filmed are real.

It's like clown college but without any kind of real performance.

Not to mention that the fans are as weak as the wrestlers...

it's a show, but these guys do get seriously injured. then again i wouldn't expect someone who completely writes it off to know anything really about it.

no one claims it's a combat sport btw and there are legitimate martial artists who compete in fake wrestling.

He's a turd, he was bashing wrestling in another thead a year or 2 ago. And made some retarded claim about how wrestlers never get hurt. The truth is there's not a legit sport out there where the people involved in sustain more injuries than a "fake" pro wrestler. Crazy how people who pro wrestle do much more damage to their bodies than dudes who box or do MMA. Shit, Brock Lesnar left WWE and is now in UFC, and will tell you he took way more punishment from WWE than he currently does in MMA. Only a fool would say that pro wrestling is real, it's totally scripted. But at the same time only a fool wouldn't understand that nothing's as hard on the body. I enrolled in a pro wrestling school about 15 years ago. I left half way thru the 1/2 day in more pain than I had ever been in and never returned. You have to be tough as shit to be a pro wrestler.

Iron Sheik thinks America eess best country number one! It has the blond hair, blue eye. Everyone else he can f--k in the ass. :D

His Indian counterpart, the "legendary" Tiger Jeet Singh lives in my home town. The guy is a colossal douchebag. Thinks he owns the place. He loves reminding people of that "fact". A friend of my mom used to work front desk at the town hall. She used to get calls for "Mayor Singh" all the time.

tsk.

sure its scripted. i don't think anyone thinks its real. hell my 8 yr old watches it every now and t hen with me and KNOWS its not real.

but to say the injuries are not real is insane. you can't do some of the stuff they are and not have injuries. I would suggest reading Mick Foley's 1st book. he talks a lot about the wrestling bisinuess from the inside. he goes on to talk about how he has sustained many many injuries.

I could put La Parka, the Chairman, in for an honorable mention.

And Jericho's best work was in WCW imo. His feuds with Greenberg and Ron Mysterio were epic.

yeah in WCW Jericho was great. Though i also enjoyed him when he first came to WWE. I gotta admit i was excited when he won the first "Undisputed Champion". though it did piss me off he lost it to HHH. it seems he was HHH whipping boy.

i have always enjoyed listening to him on the mic

Everybody is HHH's whipping boy. :(

Oh, I'd forgotten that Jericho is also the man of 1,001 holds. :D

SHEIEIEIEIEIT I forgot to mention Sting, dude's a crazy good wrestler. When all the lights would go out in the arena and 2 seconds later come back on. With him all of a sudden in the ring with a bat. He was good on mic too.
