Mother
Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Wish You Were Here
Hey You
Us and Them
Welcome to the Machine
Goodbye Blue Sky
Have a Cigar

Just to name a few.

I used to like some of their earlier stuff too (pre-1971) but haven't listened to it in decades so I'm not sure if I would still like it.

I like 96% of them but, Tops?:

Us And Them
Run Like Hell
Astronomy Domine
One Slip
Dogs
The Gunner's Dream

All of it. Favorite band for sure. If I had to choose

Comfortably Numb.

There isnt a single one of their albums I cannot listen to all the way through.

To this day, though, I have never listened to a Pink Floyd album. Just out of their radio singles, I would have to go with Comfortably Numb, with Welcome to the Machine being second, then Wish You Were Here.

Considering he named two out of five total songs from Wish You Were Here, I would think he should start there. And chances are he's heard Have a Cigar as well, so that just leaves Shine on You Crazy Diamond (in two parts) as the wild card.

But, yeah, do go and buy Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here immediately.

for me, WYWH is a collection of singles where DSotM is truly an album.

Yea, I have definitely heard all of their singles countless times. I just haven't heard anything else from any of their albums. I do actually have all of the albums lying around somewhere from my dad's old flooded collection of CDs, except for Echoes -- I was just always too busy listening to Genesis or something 😛

I will satisfy the bloodlust by listening to them on Spotify tonight since I'm too lazy to dig through boxes. Human sacrifice for repentance is out of the question, but I am willing to destroy the soundtrack from The Wedding Singer.

Agree, a couple others off hand, Ziggy Stardust/Spiders from Mars album by Bowie. Tool. Mars Volta, especially Deloused.

True but to the concept albums I would add...
Iron Maiden/Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Queensryche/Operation Mindcrime
Rush/2112, Hemispheres

Some other albums I remember playing the snot out of were Supertramp, The Who, Zepplin, Early Metallica, old Lynyard Skynyrd, Sabbath, Dio....

Heck off to youtube for a while😎
