Beth Orton. Georgeous and warm alto voice, organic and poignant. Both of her albums, Trailer Park and Central Reservation, are packed with timeless tracks, rare in their warmth and compassion. She infuses streams of electronica, jazz, blues and folk to create something stunningly vital and deeply emotional. And that voice, oh that voice.

😀 j/k...Toni Braxton or Whitney Houston is tops for me...and I have to say, after watching Christina Aguilera sing Whitney Houston songs at the BET awards last year, I give her props too...and there were no Protools in sight! 😀
