Personally, i liked this one very much: watched it subbed as a kid on TV (French audio).

I think it's from the 80s, though it might be from earlier.

You stopped watching cartoons? Well there's your problem. Even the ones ashamed of it just have kids...
I didn't really like the 80s cartoons I saw bits of. Spongebob's pretty cool for a new(Yea, yea. I know) cartoon.

Gotta go for the more intellectual stuff. Lots of modern shows are really good, but even from the 90s you get stuff like animaniacs, reboot, gargoyles, probably a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Know what sucks? When old people talk about cartoons they liked as a kid, and they were made after I stopped watching cartoons...
Really.

Nobody even remembers stuff like TerryToons or Underdog or Tom and Jerry. There was a bunch of black and white stuff from the 30s and 40s that ran quite a bit in the 60s on mornings.

my grandma had a couple of VHS tapes, each loaded with 50 cartoons from the 40s through 60s

when she didn't want to keep a close eye on 5 kids for a couple hours, she'd put one of those in

i watched a bunch of tom & jerry, road runner, bugs bunny, popeye, superman, and a little WW2 stuff thrown in for good measure

You gotta be kidding me with Tom and Jerry here. They've released 8 Tom & Jerry games in the last 20 years alone. And they did an Underdog movie in 2007.
