i did these test to prove to all that some browsers are not FASTER than others

firefox:faster i think than ie and certainly safer!
New ie: faster than its prodecessor and more features
opera: FASTEST i used to think not as easy to work with than firefox and ie

heres an undoctored hehe screenshot of the three and shows basic layout and speed of each:

debate however you want these are the facts

and plus i didnt want to install viraol i mean aol crap i mean crap for the mainstream

safety features smafety smeatures

and no processes out of ordinary not even ps cs shown in pics

how is that speed test a function of how the browser performs? It all depends strictly on the bandwidth available from the server to your computer at that moment you did the test... *AND* its the macromedia flash player that does it all, so as long as the browser loaded it up correctly, its 100% the same test, just in a slightly different outer shell, so to speak...

does FF open extremely slow for anyone else? IE opens almost instantly for me. FF takes about 10-15 seconds to open.

Mine takes 5-8 seconds to start up after a fresh boot, 2-4 seconds on subsequent opens. IE is much faster, but of course, FF doesn't have hooks into the kernel.

IE doesn't need to load at all. Because it's part of the OS and the same code is used for the "windows explorer" file manager, 99% of the browser is already in memory when you start.

FF usually takes about 5 seconds to open for me, but I have a 10,000rpm HD.

operas rendering engine has always been the fastest, you can make it faster bu upping the number of threads it sends to pages also

Yeah.. that's kinda what I said. 😀

Regardless, no - FF does not take 10-15 seconds to load on either of my PCs. I would say that is not normal. Try reinstalling from scratch. On my home machine, I basically just kept upgrading with each new release. Things stated to get flaky after a year or so, so I just renamed the install and profile folders, reinstalled the latest, then copied my bookmarks and cookies back over. After a few minutes reinstalling plugins and extensions, I had the same-looking setup, only much faster and more stable than before.

i really like IE7 beta 2
What gets me is that I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a quote not too long ago from MS's IE team that basically said they would *never* implement tabbed browsing, as it was just a gimic that nobody really wanted.

😀

Actually, I'm not done yet.

MORON. M-O-R-O-N.

That's like testing a car by seeing how fast the fvcking windscreen wipers work, you complete toolbag. It's about as relevant.
Do you understand Flash and how it works? Do you? How about Internet bandwidth? Hmm?

One more thing: could you please learn some English? Your post looks like you took a dump on it.
