Funny enough I was talking to my wife about this today, we went to a Red Robbin for lunch and I noted how their food actually looks like the pictures when you get it unlike most places.

I doubt it takes them 60 seconds to prepare the things in the commercials. If you want food to look perfect, go to a regular restaurant.
It all winds up looking the same anyway.

Lots of them actually look very close to the real thing, specially considering they were prepared in a hurry AND all the pics are underexposed with crappy quality... IF I augmented just the colors and exposure of one of them it would look 90% like the real thing

The sausage McMuffin real picture is better than the ad. The eggs in the ad looks like a plastic circle, I wouldn't dare eat anything that looked like that.

It's probably not even food in some of those shots. A cereal bowl half full of white glue instead of milk and mashed potatoes vice ice cream.

The picture on the left is of Italian BMT (Salami, Pepperoni & Ham) while the picture on the right of actual sandwich is Turkey & Ham (2 completly different sandwiches).
