BK stuff doesn't look that bad if it's all freshly prepared, but the bread gets limpy after sitting in the steam thingie and it all gets pressed down when you wrap/microwave it.

Hooters ads are awefully close to perfect.

There are people who make good money by making those sandwiches and burgers look so tasty, but it involves the use of lots paint, varnish, and other various chemicals and colorants, definitely not something you would want to eat.
So you take the best of the best (advertisement pictures) and compare it to the worst of the worst (pictures specifically selected to make the food look bad). Gee, I wonder if there's gonna be a difference.
He doesn't sound offended. The person that replied to him in an earlier post, on the other hand...
The ones in the ads look fake to me. On the other hand, some of the reality stuffs look disgusting.

actaully he is right. the pics of the crappy food are taken with a cheap camera without really setting up the camera corectly. where the advertising food has everything (light, setting etc) perfect.
not to mention they take the worst food i have seen for the bad shots. most times the food does not look that bad.

This same 'math' is how many here can say they have dated women better looking than J. Alba and company.
There are some fast food places I have been too traveling that I questioned even eating the smashed sandwich I received.
Some around here are under tighter management and they make nice looking sandwiches.

Meh, who cares. The burgers still taste the same. I lol'd at the Arby's beef n' cheddar, because I had one the other day and it looked exactly like the one in the picture (if a burger could be depressed, it would look like that). I didn't care much though, because it was friggin delicious.
Now, the only burger place I refuse to eat at are the Checkers around here. Their fries are amazing, but if you get a drink it usually has grease and shit on the inner rim and theres junk in your soda. Don't remember what the burger was like, probably because I didn't eat it.

yeah... don't they use glue for mayonnaise and glaze the bread?
they also use actual lettuce leaves, whereas just about every single place uses shredded lettuce (easier to prepare, easier to standardize, easier to eat)
Once, in the 5th grade, someone from a fast food chain came in to show us how they actually make the food in the advertisements. The fries aren't actually cooked, they're put on picks, and stuck into a foam container to give them perfect shape. None of it is actually edible.
