i agree with KB, i thought the way malvo went out was pretty lame, and the fact that gus just flat out murdered him and it was okay was just kind of odd.

The guy is a mass murderer and had just killed 2 FBI agents that same day, so I think everyone looked the other way due to that. Cop/FBI killing is kind of a big nono.

Watched last episode last night and I liked the way it ended, especially Malvo, Gus grew a huge pair and just exterminated his ass. I said well, odds are that a cop who responded first on the scene might very well have moved Malvo's handgun over to where he was at (if Gus didn't do it himself after the fact). Wife said she thought she saw that Malvo's gun was missing in a later shot from where he put it down when he walked in; gonna have to rewatch tonite to look again.

IDK, I also thought things with Lester ended pretty well....he was, at his core, a goofy loser and what a goofy loser way to go out.

Can't believe it's over. Thiis was the best thing on TV in....forever?!? :'(

Agreed, on all counts. An amazing series with a very fitting ending.

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about it yet. It barely got away with being called Fargo the first time. Now they want a whole new story line and characters?

Hell...I don't give a shit what they call it...it was a pretty damned good show.

What??? The entire series was incredibly Fargo-esque. What exactly didn't feel like the Fargo universe to you?

just started watching friday, have 2 episodes left. probably best tv show I've seen in quite a long while. each episode seems like a mini-movie in quality.

is it just me, or anyone else hoping the female cop just decides to leave lester alone (and lets not talk about cheering when she was shot).

So finished the final two. Starts with some nice thumb up your ass and ends with wife 2 getting one in the head for the first episode, to Malvo running wild on the town in his way till Lester outsmarts him with the trap.

And good god, that scene of trying to reset the bone himself.

Malvo probably went out in a good manner, probably wouldn't have felt as good if it was against squad of FBI agents in a shootout. But common man, you're damn tapes got our boy Lester swimming in a very cold pond.

I think we're going to see more of that in the future, so learn to accept it. A lot of good actors won't do TV because they don't want to play the same character for 10 years. With the one and done concept they can attract bigger names and (hopefully) keep things fresh without relying on the same old thing. American Horror Story has done it and True Detective will be doing the same for S2.

Keep hearing great things about this show. Hope it finds its way to Netflix. My satellite provider doesn't even carry FX Canada, because Bell are dicks.
