yeah i caught up last night from last weeks episode. man this show is one dark show haha. lester is such an asshole too. i really hope he dies tonight. the way he just sent out his wife to the store disguised as him because he knew billy bob was around... what a fucking dick.

Gawd...season two would be great. Whole new story line... WOOT!

(but I haven't heard any rumors about it yet...so who knows?)

Disappointing finale tonight.

I enjoyed seeing Malvo come to an end...even though I liked the character...but I was very disappointed in how Lester met his end. He deserved MUCH, MUCH worse.

I just power watched episodes 6 thru 10. There are not enough wtf's to go around.

This was one totally off the wall series. I don't know where to begin to talk about it.

I will say that at the beginning I thought that maybe they were trying to hard to be off the wall and quirky, like the movie. Eventually I just sat back and enjoyed the show.

One thing I spaced out on. Whatever happened to the grocery king who buried the money back by the road?

They showed his kid and security guy die in a car crash, but I don't think we saw anything else about him.

I watched the entire series Monday and Tuesday. Very good show, hopefully they'll give it a second season with an all new story.

Yeah, that's the last I remember of him too.

Do we still need spoiler tags?

just watched the finale and to be honest i wasn't really happy with the way it ended. the finale was probably my least favorite episode. the way malvo went out was just weak and lame. i mean gus just flat out murdered him. he was so clever and always 1 step ahead, and then he just gets shot sitting on the couch? i dunno just seemed like a cop out to end it quick.

he was shot by little lamb Gus, was more the point I think. Gus hid in wolfy's house and stalked him.

I liked the finale overall.

I don't know how they could make a series 2. Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton are excellent actors who did a great job. And Allison Tolman as Molly nearly stole the show. The supporting cast was equally outstanding. Finding such an outstanding cast again is going to be nearly impossible.

I think the series will be a one off.

i kind of hope it is just a 1 off series as they said it would be. it would be hard to recapture the charm of this season. just let it be and go out on a high note.

and i agree 100% about the woman that played molly. she did an amazing job and i kept commenting to my wife how great of an actress she was.

otoh, seeing the way this turned out, they could at least get some top tier types interested.

Personally, I want to see a sequel to Big Lebowski - spin off Walter, he's bound to get in trouble running Sobchack security. But maybe it's best left alone.

Finally saw the finale on my DVR. I enjoyed the show quite a bit. I think Lesters end was fitting. He was a bit of a bumbling buffoon that occassionally got his time in the sun. He should have passed because of his foolery.

But one thing that came far too quick was Malvo's demise.
So Gus sneaks into his house, waits for him and murders him while he is injured and unarmed and he gets a commendation? They do things differently in Bemidji. Any other city and its first degree murder. Even though he's a bad guy, but hasn't been convicted of anything yet, you can't murder him unless its self-defense.

The guy is a mass murderer and had just killed 2 FBI agents that same day, so I think everyone looked the other way due to that. Cop/FBI killing is kind of a big nono.
