>>> NO MORE CRASHING WHEN LOADING A SAVED GAME!!! <<<

This has plagued me to no end in FO3 & NV... I had to get in the habit of saving 2-3 times before quitting just to make sure one of them will load! :(

And an oddball for the wish list:
I want this game to be offered free with a new video card! (Perfect opportunity for me to get both at the same time!)

I never had that issue. It must have been your system. Even with loads of mods I never crashed when loading a game.

I've played with a dozen systems from then 'til now and had the problem each time. There's a ~25% chance that the saved game won't load... the game spins "loading" forever and you have the force-close the program.

If it's never happened to you, one of your mods may actually be a stabilizer! :D

I wanna be a big green bunny wielding a gigantic purple dildo as my weapon of choice.

There's a game for that...

I think the spinning "loading" forever is due to running out of allocated memory issue. There is a mod fix for that (Skyrim's skse I think automatically does this now)

I assume you didn't change the FOV, that helps a lot in that regard. The default FOV is piss poor in Bethesda game and I want to see and FOV slider next game instead of another config edit.

For me it was the Bioshock games... the movement somehow just gave me the worst motion sickness... few other games have.

Support more than 2 cores, goddamn't! :p
And there should be a user friendly way to fix quest bugs on-the-fly. For instance if an NPC is supposed to give you something but he's stuck trying to push a door knob cause he collides with an invisible pixel on the ground and cant complete his scripted sequence and you blast the fool Cheney-style, then there should be a way to fix the quest or skip that quest objective.

I'd like to see a "random encounter" feature to bring some life to fast travel. Since I can't help myself, but use fast travel it would,be fun if it would randomly stop me on my path for a group of bandits or something like that.

Yeah this is a well known issue. Fortunately there is an easy fix for it. Just start a new game, then once it is running load the old save. Works every time.

So basically you guys just want Moar Moar MoarMooooaaarrr

kinda. We dont wanna see the exact same gameplay with a slightly newer engine.

Skyrim was beautiful but they gimped gameplay in favor of pure action. We'd not want that trend in Fallout.

No! just No!
have you played Fallout: Tactics? the fast travel encounters were so annoying and often very time consuming. let me just get to where i want to go. period.
in fact, i can't think of any game where i liked the random encounters. not in Fallout, not in Baldur's Gate 1&2,not in NWN2, not in Agarest:GOW, not even in FF7!

Some may not like it but it WAS a part of FO1 & 2. I'd like to see your "travel by line on a map" get possibly interrupted by good/bad/random events.

Random ecounters were a significant part of the original fallouts and even "fast travel" through caravans included random encounters. It added an extra unknown to the game. It seems out of place to exclude it from Fallout 4 since it was in the originals.

agreed. Random Encounters would be a nice feature. I guess it's a rather old mechanic these days, but I think it still has value in an environment where you are expected to feel threatened every moment.

Having an instant airlift in a balloon of pillows and feathers to anywhere you want at any moment is really fucking lame.

Maybe bake in a %chance to avoid encounters within the Luck attribute. Something like that. Or even Sneak (which is already way OP in these games)

If they added random encounters during fast travel, I would install the first mod to come out that removes them. No thanks.

First off not really all that excited about fallout 4. It looks like the same old, same old to me. But a wish list is a good idea.

More dialogue options would be good. Less linearity in dialogues. Better AI including getting much better as the game mode gets harder.

Maybe a mountain bike. But it has to be ridden well or it breaks quickly. More creatures and people dispersed all over. They should also have a RC Drone that would be super hard to obtain but could be used to do some reconn and deliver deadly payloads. And maybe use the drone to deliver stuff back home but not instantly but instead in real drone-time.

One more wish. For the radio station they should allow connecting to an internet radio station. Maybe one sanctioned and run by the developers/producers/qa people. They could have some pre-recorded but maybe do some live banter for an hour or two each day. They could have multiple channels. Like have one similar to mystery science theater that's humorous. They could have one that was a particular genre.

Maybe they could also stream live audio from real casinos so it sounds like you're in a crowded place. Do the same for cities and out in the wastes, etc.

You watch they're going to do these things because they are good ideas. And they need some good ideas. Because this stuff's getting stale.

you all know i'm a detractor of F3, so don't act shocked.

1. what NWN had; give me a 3d engine and let people design modules for it. for example, dont add a DLC to the original campaign, but make it a completely separate adventure. AAA-titles-writing-guys: your writing sucks.

2. stop giving me characters with predesigned stories. it's much more fascinating if the quest can be solved by me, random guy, rather than me being the son of scientist guy, or the last survivor of a cataclysm, or the first emerged from cryosleep, or the dragonborn. these "you are hero" stories are lame.

3. a more solid combat system. one that cannot be easily exploited.
i personally don't care if you design your game and say, you cannot accomodate stealth - as long as the game mechanics are solid. if i can kill two daedra at level 6 by popping two potions and reloading a couple times, your game is bullshit.

thats what i think would make a game worth buying and that is playable. personally, i would like more, or rather, "this is what i expected from F3 but didn't get".

4. the "wasteland" is such a lovely and friendly place - stop it.
stop giving me this nuclear wasteland still full of canned beans and soda pop and friendly people. it's corny and in no way feels anything like an actual wasteland.

5. as an extension of 4, make it tougher on the survival aspect. envirnmental dangers, wounds, scarcity of ammo, posion, disease, mutations, radiation, and some insane monsters.
Gamma World was some much better as a post apocalyptic milieu.

6. REAL CHANGES. i want to break the game if i want to.
if your story makes me the hero of a nation, stop bouncers asking me for bottlecaps at the door. or give me the option to blow up the door with TNT.
ffs, wasteland 1 had some great interaction and that was 30 years ago.

also, i'm begging you .. stop it with the dialogue diarrhea. please do not vomit 500 pages of useless text into my game, i do not need all the embellishments of a flower seller telling me how the swallow sings in spring, i'm not here to buy flowers, and this does not add to the feeling of immersion, unless you want that character to come across as an idiot. Because in real life, minor details are not accented as, say, hearing someone say "I SAW A BIG ASS DRAGON CARRY A CHEST OF GOLD IN XYZ MOUNTAIN TODAY".

7. stop the dumbing down. get rid of the arrow pointers. remove fast travel, or at least remove player-controlled fast travel; otherwise there is no point to having a huge map.
as an extension of 5, make travel of all sorts be expensive, in food, water, fatigue, exposure to elements or radiation. do not let me walk in thick snow in a loincloth, please.

and finally 8. make it possible to fail the game.
i don't know why this ESSENTIAL feature was removed from gaming but if it's not possible for me to fail, i don't have any pleasure in winning.

one more thing; i'll try to explain what i mean with my hate for the writing in f3/skyrim/etc.

in F3 there's the story of your dead mother and her favourite bible quote.
you know, i really don't like that. not because it's from the bible, but because it's sentimental. It's up to me to listen for clues about quests when im talking to characters, but it's also my choice if i decide to ignore a character / writer when they tell me how i should FEEL.

I'm grognark the skullcrusher, don't tell me about kittens and babies.
