Just upgraded to a 5820k. Still overclocking it, but currently, having it at 4.0ghz w/ 120bus clock and DDR4 3200 CL14 has allowed me to play with shadow distance at high instead of medium and I still get fewer drops. I'll be overclocking it further and uncore as I get time over the next few weeks. Still using a 290 since crossfire still doesn't work in FO4. Once I'm fully overclocked I'll do that test save
