We should eliminate the income tax altogether, not replace it with something else.

So are we going to cancel all spending too? What about that $400B military?

I love how the Repubs are so anti-tax and yet spend like mad. I wish I could live like that. Anyone that want to pay 0% tax, just quit your job. I'd rather pay 40% making a $1,000,000 myself.

Absolutely. The IRS is an evil & vicious organization. It treats peaceful citizens like criminals. Why the hell does the government need to know my income, or anyone elses? I'm not a huge fan of the Fair Tax though. I don't think it will pass anytime soon, but if it does we could very well end up with a national sales tax AND an income tax, both.

Yeah, it would however be a crime to live in this country without paying for the freedom you enjoy.
