WTF is wrong with his parents that they would parade him in the media like this?

Its a phase, he'll grow out of it.
 
ugh the parents are idiots. NO i don't care if he is "transgendered" or whatever they want to call it. he should not be in girl scouts.

Why would the parents assume that any way at 7 years old? A lot of boys go through this kind of phase at that age, its perfectly normal.

Now when he's 14-15 and he still wants to be a girl, or whatever - then maybe you could argue that.
 
I don't see a problem here. The kid will eventually realize how much cooties are involved and get over it.

Isn't this what that title IX was all about? Of course its not a school, and much like the boy scouts is a secular organization that discriminates against homosexuals, the Girl Scouts are free to keep boys out. But I don't think it should be an absolute thing, I'm certain its a bitchy middle aged sex-starved soccer mom enforcing her crusty rule over a group of kids through which she lives vicariously.

On a more serious note, why separate boy and girl scouts anyway?
 
The parents should have the child taken away on neglect and maybe abuse charges.
