Sorry but I have more important things in my life to be worried about then you much less being mad at you.
The day when something that happens in an online forum can get me mad is the day I pull the plug on the net.

I'm just wondering if you have been playing with email addresses ?

Is this possible?

I had the impression that Dringdahl was taking some time off. But he had left some number of computers with DC projects still running on them.

Could FaD and UD continue to run without someone to watch over them for over a year?

Yesterday was the first time any results had been send in from that account in some time.
bty Find-a-Drug accounts are controlled by their email addresses if I'm not mistaked.

Yes!

"Think" will continue to crunch on, upload, download, and update . . . as long as the computer is on and it has an internet connection. (I don't know about UD, BTW.)

"Think" is truely an "install and forget" program. :D

Back when UD still had stats, I was surprised to see Dringdahl still active (~2-3 months ago)!

Well, I feel a bit like Squidward: "Why is it whenever I'm having fun, it's wrong?"

Geoff my friend I think that's up to the Team
I have no problem being Captain if that is what the team wants and I know you are very able to do the job.

as far as why there is a captain you have to have a captain to form a team at Find A Drug. One thing the captain can do is send emails to all the team users through Find A Drug. Other then that they are the same as all the other members.

Team Captain is responsible for buying the pizza and beer when we all get together...

I believe the team captain is just the point person for the team from an FaD perspective... doesn't need to be a heavy hitter or anything... probably won't be asked to do anything... ever... :p

That was, ahem, me

Is it just me or did you just admit to highjacking another Find A Drug member account ?

Well, if it's just you then no one else can read, and that's not polite. I told you I was going to return it that same evening...but you beat me to it.

And I thought I could be a real jerk. It was to be a joke...but then I talked with DRingdal about switching, and thought by default his points were going to stay switched. [comment removed by Beelzebub]. But I can see why someone wouldn't want to stick around, man. I said I love you guys, and yet you give nothing but grief over a harmless prank freewolf. Get over it.
