Facial hair woes

So my face you see, is not so cooperative when it comes to hair growth. I can grow a mustache (mexican mustache - stops at corners of my upper lip. I can grow a beard/goatee. And I can grow hair on the sides of my face down from the sideburns until about even with my mouth or a little lower. There is no hair growth from the mustache down to the beard or never does the side facial hair meet the mustache or beard. It makes quite the awkward appearance unless I keep everything shaved or at least trimmed excessively.

I'm 23, at some point will face be void of what seems to be pure baby skin in this certain area?

Anyone else share a similar experience?

It's all genetics, man. Not sure if this is related to health or fitness though. 😛

Balding/Hair loss can actually be a symptom of certain diseases so if you wanted to stretch it, it could be related to health. You just gotta be patient with the facial hair thing. It may get better. It may not. There's not all that much you can do to fix it.

I'm 28 now, and I can definitely grow a much fuller beard than I could 5 years ago. You may be able to as well. I dunno, I've never really had much chest hair until more recently either, maybe I'm just a pansy. 😀

I have pretty much the exact same growth pattern BZeto. I'm 19. My father, on the other hand, grows a full beard during the winter, but he mentioned once he couldn't do that until he was about 30 years old. It's all genetics and time.

I am 27 years old and I can only grow facial hair:

- On my neck where it comes in pretty thick
- On my cheeks where it comes in patches
- Above my mouth where it comes in VERY lightly

I look like a 16 kid going through puberty. But I only have to shave every 3 days so that's cool.

I would gladly trade my facial hair for any of your lack of facial hair. It would save me 5 minutes every morning.

My growth is gimped (don't let your kids sleep at 3am when going through all growth spurts). At age 22, I'm finally getting thick neck hair, but aside from the moustache, there's nothing on my cheeks. I barely have sideburns. Since I'm going bald, I'd like to at least become a dirty thug.
