I'm not a nanny, I don't care what people let their kids do or not do, but to come on here and complain about the content when it was clearly stated ahead of time, and when the game has a maturity rating clear on it bugs me. I wouldn't buy my kids an M rated game if I didn't know what was in it, and if somebody else does then they shouldn't complain about what they get.

That's all.

He didn't buy it for his kid. And he knew it was M when he made the pre-order.
I'll say it again. WHAT SURPRISED US, WAS THE FACT THE MATURE PARTS ARE ALMOST USELESS.

It seems like GameFly might have lied to me about shipping it on Monday, considering my NetFlix and GameFly distribution centers are about the same distance from me and my NetFlix movies got here in 2 days.

*****IMPORTANT SPOILER*****

Choose Love or you will hate life. You won't be able to get a bunch of achievements. Trust me.

Anyone know how to rename your own character? I don't like the name Sparrow. its like PM has a love for POTC. In fable one there was a grave marker for a captain j sparrow. I like POTC the 1st one but Sparrow doesn't come off as evil enough.

You can buy new titles(names) from the town cryer. Im not sure you can edit your char name directly.

Retaliation from PlayStation fanboys for the low score Xbox fanboys gave LittleBigPlanet.

hmmm
i guess I'm going to trust metacritic on this one; I'm going to wait until more people have their Fable2's on eBay for really cheap prices before I buy mine

I got it this friday. Put in an hour or two. Excellent game, the storytelling is awesome, superb voice acting, amazing graphics. Really enjoyed it yesterday. One gripe so far - the controls, they seem to be a bit laggy.

Wait, are you trusting the user reviews or the "main" reviews? As stated before, it's just PS fanboys. There's no reason to trust it.

But, a 92? I don't see how you can't trust that and want to get the game right away.

I have a problem with the "A" button (interact).. When I look at property signs, etc it seems like I need to move around to find a sweet spot and press A repeatedly.. Also, loading times are slightly annoying.

Played some online coop today for the first time, and the camera wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. It seemed to always be pointing about where I'd want it to, but it did kinda suck not having free reign over it. My experience was generally lag free. All in all, not too bad.

anyone know if you can get credit for a specific silver key if a coop player digs it up? I don't have a dog anymore and am missing one silver key in Bowerstone Market.

That or does anyone know the location of all 7 keys in Wraithmarsh? Yes there is 7/6 keys, weird I know. I have 6/6 and am looking for the 7th. I have found the 6 that all the online guides speak of.

I thought the game was OK. Im happy i rented it and didn't buy it. Didn't even finished the game. Maybe some other time when its cheap.

w00t found it! Was in the ShadowCourt behind a destructible wall. 7/6 keys for Wraithmarsh. I wonder if they did that on purpose since a couple keys you can't get without your dog.

I'm really enjoying this game so far. The single one thing I'm hating, though, is the apparent button lag. It seems as if there's a half-second lag between your button press and things happening in the game. It's definitely apparent when you're using the meter in expressions and work, but I can see it just when running around and while in battles, too.

When I get an hour or two, I think I'm going to pound out my 5-star rating in woodcutting, and try to earn enough money to purchase a high-end bar or something in Bowerstone.

yeah the most annoying thing is the button lag. Thankfully, I've never noticed it in combat just while interacting with things in town and stuff.

I hear bartending makes the most money but I haven't tried it yet.

I got myself 100% evil and 100% corrupt. Now I'm trying to get good again, I just wanted to get the maelstrom sword from the temple of shadows.

Haha neat, I just got to 5 star woodcutter and am considering the exact same thing you are.

I'm at the part where you go to Brightwood to try to start the third quest. My Brightwood won't load and it freezes. Thankfully I saved before this happened. Been reading alot of forums and this is a common problem. I'm pissed because I can't find anything

you lose him once and get him back. and then another time for good unless you pick Love at the end of the game. and trust me, choose Love or you won't be able to get some achievements.

Played this a bunch over the weekend and think I'm approaching the endgame, but I still have a bunch of quests to do, so I've gone back to try to finish them up first. I was surprised to see how many quests had piled up unannounced -- I suspect this is because I started warping from area to area as a consequence of the fairly poor in-game map system and probably didn't walk by areas where quest NPCs were ready to send me somewhere.

Being a real-estate mogul in this game is fun, and a whole lot more entertaining than the employment minigames (although bartending is a great way to make gold fast if you don't screw up too often). It'll probably take way too long to buy everything to become King, but I've been dumping my income into real estate as fast as I can, and I own most of Bowerstone Old Town and the entire Gypsy Camp.

I like the ease of switching between combat styles in the combat system, but the lock-on seems to bite me a lot, especially when you are flanked by other monsters -- it seems very difficult to switch targets and some of the later encounters take place in tight quarters where the wrong default camera angle leads to you getting chewed up pretty fast.

Keystone and Fortune's Tower, while largely losing propositions, are entertaining to play. Spinnerbox is utterly boring and is such a massively losing proposition I don't know why anyone would bother. Maybe it's Molyneux trying to make a statement on the intelligence of playing slot machines, but the payouts are so widely spaced out (and when they finally do, so miniscule) that it's not only not fun, it's actively annoying (when I start my evil character, I'm going to hunt down and destroy every single Spinnerbox Game Master I find).

I don't want to give away any spoilers, but one of the minizones behind one of the gargoyle doors has the most jarring moment of the game for me so far. Talk about creepy and disconcerting.

Still enjoying this game a lot, flaws and all.
